This is really creative and I enjoyed it a lot. Manipulating the odds is really fun and I am a big fan of how the story unfolds over time. I feel a little bad for ruining all those lifes, but hey, at least I am free from the casino, right?

I guess that’s your goal! I’m not sure if it’s even possible to get at least decent endings for everyone, but I’m glad you’ve checked out the mechanics thoroughly. Thanks for playing!

Very interesting game concept.  Nice job on the graphics

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Personally I’m thinking about polishing up the gameplay and graphics a little after the jam.

This is one of my favorites of the jam so far. I like how the story unfolds the farther you get into the game and the epilogue of what happens later. I think this was a genius use of this face does not exist, btw.

Developer

Thanks! We spent a lot of time trying to get the whole character system implemented.

This was a really good game, especially for a game jam that only lasts 48hours! I think if you guys continued working on this game, it can do really well!

Would love if you can check out my game too. Thanks!

Thanks for playing, the code is a mess but I have thought about polishing it a little.

Developer

I would like to strongly second how much of a mess this code is. It would probably need a complete rework hahaha

Really interesting game, though I wasn't prepared to have to wrestle with my morality. Kinda gives me papers please vibes.

Developer(+1)

Thanks! That actually was somewhat of an influence.

The game was really fun, the art looked nice, and the people in the game concerned me, 10/10!

Thank you very much, I’m glad you liked the game!

Wow the visual effects, sound effects and the game feel is so well done, and the game play is quite addicting too

Developer

Thanks so much for the feedback! We knew we needed to get the general feel right to compensate for the less engaging moment to moment gameplay! I'm glad you feel like we nailed it!

Whoa! The atmosphere in this game is so great, almost feel like a real commercial casino game, lol.

Great job!!! I have so much fun playing this.

Developer

Thanks! Your kind words mean a lot!

Hey! You guys set the mood for this game really well with your art and music choices. I also really commend such an interesting take on theme. I am the artist and designer for my team so I don't really have a huge catalogue of game mechanic knowledge to critique against so I'm sorry if this is a bit dull!  But I think if you had the ability to toggle the tutorial over the game instead of it being on a whole separate screen only accessible by the menu, absorbing the steps and points would be a bit easier. I found the tutorial screenshots a tad confusing because it was number heavy and there were a lots of things to take in at once (also I am not a numbers person lol).  Once I got the hang of things though I found this game really interesting to play and again, I really like your take on the theme.

Thanks for your kind words and feedback! Both of us are actually technical people so we spent a long time working on the feel; getting this positive feedback from a arty person makes it all worth it.

We both knew that the tutorial wasn't great. But it was a concession we needed to make to get other priorities finished. What this needed was an interactive gameplay tutorial, we just didn't have time for it.

Thanks again for your feedback and we are super glad you enjoyed!
