A bit hard to understand what's going on at first.
But it is surprisingly strategic once you understand.
Pretty cool pixel art and effects, good job !
Can I have the background of this game as wallpaper? xD
I really liked the art. Maybe it was intentional but the filter wasn't disabled on the background I think as it looks a bit blurry and the name here is pretty hard to read:
The game play is good but the presentation is the big point of this game.
The art and music are amazing! Great job making them in 48 hours!
One problem that stands out to me is making sure the player has interesting choices, sometimes both armour or element choices are the same, which means you don't have much to do.
A tutorial would also be nice, as I found myself semi-randomly putting things in slots.
Great game guys!
Fantastic visual and audio aesthetic. The gameplay is also interesting and engaging. Great job!
Clever integration of dice into turn-based combat mechanics with an incredibly charming presentation. Might be a little too much randomness to effectively plan a strategy each turn (maybe allow all body parts to be accessible and just randomize the damage types), but a great concept that's worth continuing to iterate on. Excellent work!
Very interesting game! The visuals are absolutely stunning!
Awesome visuals and sound, but blurry armors make it look awful, you should set the filter off in every sprite and it would look perfect. Didn´t quite understand the gameplay but still managed to face the eternal samurai and he defeated me. Nice game.
Great presentation and concept although it took a while for me to understand what was going on.
Really great presentation. I'm not sure I fully understood the strategy.
This looks great and is fun to play. I don't know what else to say, good job!
I enjoyed everything about this game! The charming music, beautiful art and the original gameplay.
The only bad things I can say is that the art for the armor looked out of place and a bit blurry.
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream, here's the interview; https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1539011947
Really cool concept allthough I didn't fully understand how each mechanic worked exactly. There seems to be a fair amount of decision making and strategy. I do think that because of the randomnes, the moments where you don't get to shoose between two options because both are the same come up too frequently. Maybe this could have been fixed by preventing the two element- and bodypart-dice to show the same result in one turn, so you allways have a choice to make. Going further, I think the option to hold a die for the next turn instead of having to use all of them could have added an interesting layer of strategy.
Stellar presentation and theming. Unless I was missing something mechanically, there was generally a pretty straight forward highest expected value to slot the dice with each turn. I did have a round where I could ignore what I was doing with my block to maximize damage while the enemy was low, but most rounds, it boiled down to a bit of symbol matching. If there were ways to accumulate more dice, or other tradeoffs to consider each round, could squeeze out a lot more depth. Nevertheless the combat system seems very functional and nicely polished! Well done ⛩🔥
Love the art and the title, not 100% sure on the strategy for it but it seems super cool!
