Nice idea, The game is challenging (for me) but that made me enjoy it more! Great job and fun idea
I managed to finish it, last level took me a while lol. This game surely has something that keeps you hooked, probably needs a bit of polishing for the aim of the jump, but other than that it's a solid and fun concept. The music is really trippy!
Thank you so much. First time making music, sorry ahaha.
The music to this game has some kind of fever dream quality to it.
I like the concept of trying to platform to reach a higher ledge, but I kind of find putting the mouse at the right position to be a wee bit frustrating.
Also, I know it doesn't sound like much, but it makes a world of difference to add some sound effects. The sound of a die hitting a casino chip, and a casino board, and whoosh when you kick the die into the air is all you need.
I would try and take this game a step further and ditch the casino setting and add some moving platforms, more obstacles, etc.
Thank you so much, i think no one pointed out the SFX, but you are absolutely right.
I though about moving platforms and things like bouncy chips or something like that, but in 48h this is all i could do.
Super useful feedback, im truly grateful.
At first I confused at first level how to jump higher than chips platform, than I realized upper face gives you a jump power, and the game become very fun to play, nice grapcihs cool mechanic and polished gameplay, nice work buddy!
Fun game. I was balancing on a tall tower for a second because all I could roll was low.
Actually, the only thing i wish i was able to do in time, was more level design, but im pretty proud of what my game came to be.
Of course, leaving aside the horrible controls, wich im gonna redo but it would have been a hell doing it on jam time.
Thanks for the feedback, and of course im checking out your game.
Interesting idea, kind of like a golf game but with a bit of randomness. To improve the aiming system I think it would be interesting to have more control over the direction of the throw. Well done :)
Also I love how those poker chips look.
I like the game, I think it's a creative idea. Some feedback I have is that being able to move the camera would make the game better and also aiming in the direction of the jump instead of the opposite would be more intuitive.
Actually you can move the camera by holding right click, but i wanted to see if i could make the controls to be so intuitive that i had no tutorial, but it seems like i failed xd. Im gonna put the controls in description just in case. Thank you so much for the feedback!
The dice mechanic was nice for the first few levels but just got kinda annoying jumping in place until you got a number that worked and the way you actually move wasn't very fun either, even with these problems though I enjoyed it quite a bit
I'm gonna keep it real with you the aim mechanic feels awful and the music is grating. Having a more intuitive aiming system would be a good start to improving this game.
Thank you very much, this is my first time making music at all, and for the next time, i will search for someone to do it for me 😂.
And about the aiming mechanic, i know its awful, it has little range for aiming, and starts doing strange things when you put the mouse inside the cube itself, and i dont even know why. I would love to redo the entire system and next time i wil NOT copy youtube code without understanding it lmao. I did my best in 48h and i really appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
That's all that matters is you tried your best I get caught doing the same thing where I'll just copy code from a tutorial not understand it and struggle way longer than I would've if I just followed the tutorial
Surprisingly fun, given such a simple premise!
I really like the concept, and physics based games are always a good time. I with there was more depth to the game mechanics and level design though.
