I finished this game  and I think the character is cute.

the only problem is that I have to go through a super long process to attack.

Yeah, After the voting period, I am planning to add options for auto-equip and for auto-closing the inventory after equipping a dice. I think it should help streamline the inventory/rolling/equipping mechanics. Thanks for commenting, though :)

I would not be surprised if you won. While some mechanics could probably be improved, the game is overall enjoyable, fun, and the art is really good

Thanks so much!

Like the art a lot, and the mechanic is cool! My only suggestion would be to limit the amount of fiddling around in menus you have to do in order to attack.

Nice job!

Cool concept! I like how going into your inventory and rolling dice is kind of time consuming, it makes it thrilling to try and get the right roll equipped before the enemy slowly reaches you. The art is adorable too :)

That was fun! Nice work. Really great art, plus a lot of content and gameplay for the amount of time there was. I think the weapon system could have been smoother, but I see what you were going for. Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback! What probably made the development even harder was that the game was created in MIT Scratch...

Great choice of tool for a game jam! Really easy to use.

it is a little bit hard to play on a keyboard because I was always trying to push space/enter for interactions but when after some time you get use to the control and the game turns in fun journey!

love the game - great job!

Nice looking game as well, Nice pixel art. The mechanic is interesting too but its a bit shot for now to fully benefit from it maybe.  First browser game I ever played on controller I think as well, Congrats!

I really like how the game looks and how it uses minimum amount of pixels for explaining dice :) nice one!

Overall a really solid game! The art was incredibly charming and nostalgic. The weapons as dice mechanic was thought out really well thought out. The third level in the game is a little bit buggy. If you attacked while near the chest the die would just disappear, causing me to restart. Also on that level, when moving the crate an invisible barrier gets in the way. Other than that, solid entry!

Oh no! Thanks for playing and pointing out that bug! I'll be sure to fix it in the first release (after the voting period) :)

Cool game, gives me Pico8 vibes. I really like the retro aesthetic, and the collecting dice with limited rolls aspect is interesting! Nice work!

This is such a cute game! Love the pixel art, and can imagine the amount of effort that must've gone into it... Incredible, especially given it was all in the 48 hours!

Slightly better explanation of controls and a few more levels, and this game is ready to launch :)

Developer(+1)

I will hopefully add MANY new levels and enemies after the voting period, as well as accessibility features... Thanks so much for playing!

I'm in love with your pixel art! Very cute little dumpling and assets.
Took me a while to get the hang of the controls (accidentally throwing my die away...).

Sadly I finished it too quickly. If you add more levels to your game after the game jam I will definitely play it again. :)

One pointer: Please make the bird less cute. I really didn't want to kill it :'(

Thanks so much for playing (and commenting!) I will hopefully add MANY more levels and a real story with dialogue + NPCs sometime after the voting period...

I loved the pixel art! Great job! I was a little confused at first with the controls but it was fun anyway. And the music was so cool!
