Man, there's something about the popping noise that plays when you attack something that makes me really happy! 48 hours is a really short time to make a game, and you don't always get to submit something that works, so the fact that you made and submitted a working game in 48 hours is already something to be super proud of! Good work!
Well, sometimes I dont know the best choice of the sfx, and I just put a pop sound to it, and in many cases it works fine.
After many nights and days of hunger, cold, and fight, I won!
congratulations on the idea and the game, it was very creative and fun! I hope you keep working on the idea =]
if you have time, check out my game
I have rated your game. Thanks for commenting. If I have a high grade, I will work on it.
win.
need lile bit more think not depends on luck to do.
maybe give me possibility choose the seed?
interesting and fun experience :)
Good game! The art is nice and the gameplay is fun aswell would be nice to know a little bit better what I am holding because I found a legendary sword but you did a great job, nicely done
The art-style looks pretty and it's an interesting concept, reminds me of D&D. I just wish there was more nuance to what you can do when throwing the dice or what cards you can pick.
I like throwing the cube and seeing the little knight go
You have understood the core part of the game.
This game has such a great look to it, well done. The concept is good as well.
I really love the art and concept! Well done!
虽说有时会感觉莫得选择(比如第一盘因为永远没南瓜在第二天就倒了),但即使光是看这个画面,就感觉很有意思了 :) 角色的动画很丝滑,而且即使只有48小时,内容都不少了!
Although sometimes feeling lack of choice (eg. never getting pumpkin until dying on the second day), but the graphics alone is pretty satisfying :) Amazed by how smooth the movements are. Despite having only 48 hours, the diversity of contents is already able to make me satisfied!
按这类游戏的节奏,角色的死亡应该是后期的事,前期应该没这么危险。
动画是我自己仿照魂类做的系统,比U3D原来的好使。
For such kinds of games, the death of role should happens very late, rather than at the early time of a game.
I made a animation system like dark souls , it is easier than the original animation system to use in U3D.
Hi the option to walk away doesn't seem to do anything. Other than that more agency would be great!
Already told about the problem in strategy depth for one page, but indeed, it is out of expectations that I can finish this game.
There are too many systems in this game, I have considered surrender for many times during development, and can barely run the game few hours before the game jam ends. At the last several minutes the Web version have bug, and I can only upload the windows version.
Unfortunately, it's not just a matter of lack of strategies. The broken of Web version make me feel pity, too. I upload my ludumdare game(Web) by mistake in the last few mins, and after I woke up, I find the wrong version have 6 comments, and this one have none. Very few people downloads windows packages, that is why I change my itch ID.
辛苦了,深刻体会到了windows包没人权。
Solid foundation, but I wish there were more choices to make as a player. Perhaps instead of stacking, the attack/defence cards had to be manually activated and lasted x amount of turns? Or tiles that offered one of multiple options with equally helpful outcomes? More things like Food and Fate cards, where the player has to consciously decide when to use or not use them.
Randomness in game design is an interesting balancing act.
In my opinion, Add more varients and systems to make more situations and strategy depth is definetely the right direction, but It is already out of my expections that I could finish so many things.
I survived for 7 days, but because everything is random, it doesn't feel like winning. There is choice, but the answer is always yes. Randomness can make a game feel exciting, but even if the odds are against you, I feel like you should be able to turn the tide by playing it smart.
Congradulations that you finish this game! This game lacks of strategy, which is a problem that I am warned for every comments. I know where to fix it, I just dont have enough time.
Win for the first time, fun to play! But the random sometimes make me feel down. Hope there would be more control and event for player
That was very enjoable game, love the randomness. Good replayability!) and artstyle is very cute)
Thanks for your reply and the patience to download and play my game!
I really like the charm of this table top game.
I ended up getting 4 Shadow Sword on the first 4 days by using the Dice of Fate each time. Ended up one hitting all enemies. Also thank you kind giant that always feed me. (wish there was an option to let the young pup go :P)
Congrats on completing the jam !
Well, I have considered add more legend weapons, but the shadow sword is created 2 hours before the jam ends, so...
And, maybe one day I will make some wierd choices, for example, forgive the enemies like the dog and adopt them?
I enjoyed a lot playing this game. A bug happened once that two enemies spawned in one tile, but it wasn't an important thing. In general, I loved the art and simplicity of the game.
Well, I know this bug but I didn't have enough time to fix it. Thanks for your reply!
This is a cute game! It needs a little more non-random strategy around health management, but I love the art direction and the rules are really easy to understand.
Thanks for your feedback! I would finish the strategy part if I have 72 hours, but the game really have too many systems for me to finish in 48 hours.
Oh definitely, I couldn't even get sound working in my game. :) More for if you continue to work on it after judging is done.
This game feels too random to be fun, and the random event tiles only worsen that. My first run ended with me dying randomly to an event tile after steamrolling everything with two legendary weapons. Your actions just don't feel impactful enough.
I've realized that, but I dont have time to deal with the strategy part. If it's a 72hour jam, I can complete the strategy part and make it better.
