It's really cool seeing how far you've come from the original game. Nice job :)

sounds great! I can definitely build off of this; thanks :)

Thanks! I had actually forgotten about the limitation when I started making the game, and since I didn't have enough time to completely remake it I had to do with what I had (' .__.)

This might be my favorite game in the jam. The art and concept are great, and unique to all the other games. While it's hard to stay on the track without constantly breaking, that only increases your will to try again. All in all, good job!

I had actually intended on giving this a newgrounds/flash-like feel, so thanks!

true, but that'd probably give you a lower chance of winning :P

Nice game! Definitely hard at the beginning with the disappearing platforms and one-hit deaths, but once you get the idea it's pretty easy. Only suggestion would be to change the ground to fit with the rest of the art, as it feels too simple.

Fun game with good graphics. If you were to ever finish this post jam, I'd suggest making a non-gradient background that you could loop so it slowly follows you in a sort of paralax, just to give off the feeling of movement a bit more.

Good concept! It'd be nice if there were sounds/complete graphics, although it's understandable since there wasn't a ton of time.

Really good game! Wasn't able to play very long before my computer crashed, so do the requests actually affect the order/speed of what you're playing?

Nice game. Feels super satisfying and the art's nice. The only downside is it doesn't really relate to heaven.

Thanks. Might look at making a practice mode after the jam so you can view the hitboxes and stuff

thanks!

Sir Fleur community · Created a new topic Cool game :)

Looks nice!

I gotta admit that I can't play this myself because I've got a ChromeOS, but from what I can see in the screenshots it's clear a lot of work was put into this.

(lol I'm not sure if I'm supposed to actually say something useful in discussion boards but like-)

yeah

Yeah, I need to fix the concept a bit to make it more fair/impactful overall once the jam ends

Yeah. The menu was the last part of the game I worked on, so the art's less detailed and there are probably some bugs. Thanks for pointing that out, though :)

The art is amazing and the concept is very unique and easy to learn. Nice job!

I would not be surprised if you won. While some mechanics could probably be improved, the game is overall enjoyable, fun, and the art is really good

It's hard, because people generally look down on Scratch as it's considered a children's coding site, but due to its limitations creating a good game (such as yours) is much harder and should probably deserve more respect than a Unity game you could make in minutes

The art is incredible. I really like the mechanic with the stats, and I'm legit astonished that you were able to do this in 48 hours. Nice job :)

Yeah, I see what you're saying. If there were more cards, you probably wouldn't be able to lose them, but since there are only twelve it adds a bit more of a challenge to keep the game going. The game's meant to be a somewhat idle-based game, but I do hope to have more stuff the player can do in the full version. Thanks for your feedback!

thanks! Most of the stuff you pointed out was originally planned to be done but I didn't have the time, but I'll take all of that into consideration when I work on the finished game post-jam :)

Thanks! I was pretty busy this weekend, meaning I only had a few hours to work on this. I do plan on finishing this once the jam ends, so I'll definitely try to improve the concept and overall gameplay. And this was made in Scratch :P

I've been working on an original platform fighter in my spare time for quite a bit, and I've created/polished the engine enough to move on to creating characters.  After realizing that it'll seem really repetitive and boring if nobody knew any of the characters (as they'd all be made by me), my first thought was to have Haiku make an appearance in the game, as I've been watching lots of gameplay and it seems like a great game. Of course, I'd need your permission to add him to the game, so I figured I'd give you a few details (I'm really sorry if this comes across as advertising. I figured this was the best place to ask, but feel free to delete/ignore this if you want :P) While the game itself is free, I'm creating a Kickstarter campaign to help fund it, so it IS commercial. As I'm the only developer, I don't plan on having a full credits roll (lol) so I figured I'd thank you in the main menu instead. Thanks in advance :)

Uhh I forgot about this gamejam so I guess I'll just be the only one here that's commenting but didn't make a game but this is pretty neat. Much better than anything I could make on unity ;)

hey! It's been a while. How's life?

nice! I think HTMLifier has better results for packaging, just so you know for future projects shared here. I played the original one a few years ago, I think... this is so nostalgic :P

I have founded you :0

oh yeah, that's the name. And I know you've got other things to do besides making games, so don't take the feedback harshly

nice! I think the game could have been a bit more creative, but it's still really enjoyable; this is my third run :)  What's the website font name? I've been looking for an 8-bit font on itch for a while, and the pixel doesn't seem to work for me.
