Really interesting concept for the theme of the game jam. It's hard at first to completely understand but once you get the hang of it you kinda unlock a whole new aspect to the game . Great job!

Really clever puzzle idea - even though I was terrible at it I still enjoyed it! The dice felt great to interact with, I really liked what you did with the different pip designs and the animations were great. I really liked the erasing mechanic too - having to give up a dice as well as having to use only the patterns available to you was a neat tradeoff. It would be nice if there was an easy-mode option to highlight dice that I'd be disabling with my currently selected move.

Wow, I'm blown away by how good this game is! The art is so pleasing and the music is very relaxing. The game itself is very clever but also pretty intuitive. The only things I had trouble with in the beginning was understanding that the pieces on the edge weren't eligible for points if the space gets cut off and also the fact that there wasn't a restart button. Other than that, I really loved playing your game so much! Great job!

Mechanics are complicated but game is beautiful and fascinating

Inventive puzzle idea. I don't quite understand the mechanics for the scoring when you delete a die because you've messed up - do you have to remove the die that is giving you the penalty and not just one of the duplicate dice causing? I think that sometimes just removing the duplicate is enough but I'm not sure.

You're right, you only need to remove the duplicates and the die will stop giving you penalty. For example, I have the board as below and the 6 is giving me penalty. I will need to remove one of the 9s in order to stop the penalty. My tutorial is a mess so I hope I have cleared any confusion now. Hope you had fun!

Ok thanks! I wonder if the situation I had was a bug then. If I reproduce it I'll send a screenshot.

Recreated the issue - there was an 8 block in the top left (0,0) which is why the 8 block at (1,1) went grey. I deleted the top left 8 block using a 1 block, but the 8 block at (1,1) is still grey even though there aren't any more duplicates in range.

Oh right, that must be it then. Briefly before submission I did noticed something strange with the score or the penalty system, but I couldn't figure out what or why, so at the last minutes I wrote a vague warning on the game's page that there would be bugs. You put so much thought into the game and even helped me find the bug and I really appreciate that!

Already commented on the main page for the game but wanted to comment here as well - this game is incredibly fun, addictive and well-made, probably the most polished game I've played in the jam so far and definitely the one I've played the longest (I'm a sucker for a good puzzle game and working out the most strategically best placements for squares was really fun) just yeah all in all really good and a really creative use of the prompt

This is a wery creative game. The rules were a little complicated at the first minutes, but after i understand how it works, i really started to enjoy playing with this game

I feel like I could spend the whole day just painting with this dices. Could have used some lighter colors, but beautiful none the less. Good job.

I still have trouble finding out what to insert xD. Super relaxing and charming game, with some form of art behind the graphics and sounds. If there was a possibility of adding a dark palette to the game, that would be perfect!

Super clever idea! Also nice presentation in terms of art.

The music however is really jarring. My recommendation is to use something from incompetech next time instead of auto generating the music. It's 100% free and you don't even need to credit them for it.

very unique take on the theme, a fun entry!

a fun puzzle game, but not one that i seem to be having much success with playing. still giving it a good rating, because my own shortcomings are not yours :P

This is a super unique game! I personally am not the best at art, so I didn't do very well at all, but I could definitely see this being a great game for someone more artistically inclined than me. But great job with the game nonetheless!

this is a very unique interpretation and because of that, it stands out! i really like the aesthetic of the whole game, and i had fun playing! (even tho my score wasnt too great haha) awesome job!

Fantastic game! I got to 21 before ruining my work and ending up with a score of 14. I was never any good at art.
