Very cute game, and absolutley gorgeous art! Sometimes the rope gets stuck a bit, but otherwise its really good.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!

This is a hilarious concept and take on the theme, a fair bit of fun, but, man it is the presentation that shines, especially the graphics, I'd love to see more stuff with these kinds of graphics, it's just such a fun and compelling style! The physics are definitely a bit janky and it's easy to get stuck on things, but, it almost doesn't even matter, it's just a joy. Great work!

Also the "GuilloTeam" what an incredible pun, respect.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much, those kind of feedback are definitely delightful :D We're glad you liked it!

Well you're the first one to notice, made us laugh!

Submitted(+2)

Really beautiful, fits the theme really well and is just fun to play! Felt unique and the grandma getting stuck didn't felt like a annoying thing but more like more interactive game perse.

Really liked this game!

Developer

Thank you so much!

By the way I love your entry and take on the theme! We had a similar idea for a precedent Jam, in which you have to create a beat to play the game :D It's still on itchio here https://guilloteam.itch.io/space-drummer (playable on browser), if you fancy checking it out ^^

Really beautiful art. Had fun flinging grandma into passersby. I would have liked the controls to be a little more precise, but that's just my preference. Nice work!

Developer

Thank you for playing! Surely more precise controls could've been helpful to balance the physics' jankyness, thanks for your feedback!

I like your work with art, groovy music and sound effects! Especially small rustle of paper when characters moves. It connects all together.

Maby thinking about clear win condition will help you with lack of goals?

Developer

Thank you, it's always really pleasing when someone notices all the little details :D

Yes it's an idea! The UI for the point has to be work on also, it might help. Thanks for your feedback!

Submitted(+2)

Really enjoyed the concept and presentation! I wish the goal was just a bit more concrete, but as a jam game this is really well executed and follows the theme nicely. Well done!

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback !

Yes for the goal, as mentionned below : lack of time mainly, but this experience will serve our future projects (we hope so !) ^^

Amazing artwork, kicking soundtrack and a chaotic good time :)

If you decide to carry on developing it; I think you could really elevate the game by a) making the clock count down, and b) adding an achievement system to encourage the player to get up to different bits of mischief :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback !

For the clock counting down, I think it would go against the initial idea that is to make something as chill as possible. I saw a few streamers play the game and they ended up with very different times. We prefered to give a timer in the case where the player wants to speedrun the level, without forcing everyone to rush through the game.

The achievement system is a really good idea ! It would be possible to give funky challenges that you can try at your own pace. I love this idea !

Lovely art and nice concept!

Thank you very much !

I'm awestruck and in love with the art and the gameplay felt really satisfying too.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for such love ! Your game is realy nice too, hope to see you at next Jam aha ;)

very lovely art and gameplay - so polished well executed .

Developer

Thank you for playing, glad it pleased you !

Submitted(+2)

I liked it, although I felt that it lacked a little bit in terms of goals or overarching gameplay challenge. The art is really nice, and the animations and interactions between the dog and the items around feel really good, still enjoyed a lot!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your comment, we're glad that you like the game !

We receive a lot this comment about the lack of goal and challenge, and we hear it, but it was both caused by lack of time and design decisions, We wanted something as chill and casual as possible while still fun for everyone, and we thought that punishing players with a health system for example would have been a bit too  frustrating and impossible to balance for everyone. With more time we would have added a more polished point system that takes time in account, and more paths to take in the level design, to encourage players to explore and try to find the best one.

Absolutely loved the art and music in this game! I feel there's a lot here to explore and post-jam I'd love to see the team keep going!

The controls felt a tad wonky at times and could probably do with a little more friction in the movement just to tighten things up, not too much since I think a little bit of slidiness gives this kind of game a bit more feel, just enough to feel a tad more tactile. Another thing that came to mind a bit was how much fun it would be if the music had reaction queues to when the owner bonks into stuff, a few times she lined up just in time for the cymbal smash and I thought it was just playing when she launched into stuff which made things feel very tied together.

All in all, I'd love to see this game go farther!

Great job to everyone on the team!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the in-dephts feedback!

I agree with everything! For the sound design part, we thought about "Ape Out" as a reference (procedurally generated music that reacts to the game play, check it if you never heard of!), but decided it could be too difficult to balance in the short time we had. But it could definitely be a big improvement indeed!

Glad you liked it anyway!

Cool art, nice gameplay but it felt lacking to me, I was expecting something else or more mechanics idk. it felt very short.

Developer(+1)

Hey, thank you for playing it on stream, and for your feedback! We lacked some time at the end, but in fact we aimed for a short funny experience. Gameplaywise, it does miss something to make it complete!

What an awesome game! It reminded me right away of Untitled Goose Game, but even more charming, the characters, the overall mood, the paperlike assets, just midblowing. So cool. Congrats!!!

Developer(+1)

Wow thank you very much!! It surely was one of our inspiration, and we are so pleased that you mentioned it!

Submitted(+2)

Just Loved it. Great art style & animations. funny gameplay.
Nothing to say except I had a good time playing it. :)

Developer

Well the only thing that really matters is that you had a good time. Thank you very much for playing!

amazing is one word for it, and awesome is another. Great job!

Those words fit your comment! Thanks you so much!

God I had fun playing this game. It just... I am dog. I am agent of CHAOS. I pee on fire hydrant.

Just perfect presentation!

Brilliant aesthetic! Nice energetic game play. Could have been a bit more chaotic in my opinion.

Great Work!

Developer

Thank you very much! Yes probably, needs a bit of balancing as well, and surely some game design.

My god, finally found this game!

When I saw a gif of this game popping by on the discord channel, I wanted to give it a go straight away but failed to find it. Really love the cute presentation of the game and the music also feels nicely fitting ^^.

Developer

Haha you search has finally ended! Sorry for our early Discord teasing, we didn't find the title of the game yet, so game was hard to find just based on the visual. You can be proud that you found us ahaha!

Submitted(+1)

Great visuals! The sound of flapping paper is such a nice detail. It was a bit hard to control the granny, but overall i loved it.

Developer

Great thing that you noticed those little details. Glad you loved it!
