Really satisfying to play this on a mechanical keyboard and do some rhythmic keyboard strokes! Nice concept, maybe when you press Q/W/E there could be a nice tactile sound to provide some cool feedback? On that topic, having sound sliders would be really helpful as the music and tank was extremely loud for me and I had to mute the tab at times.
This is really nice work and the platforming feels really nice, definitely a lot nicer than my first platformer projects!
I initially thought it was kinda simple but having to do so much work to do something as simple as shooting made me think a lot more about my actions. Good job!
Nice Idea and very good execution. Having the keys to do anything made me have to anticipate every actions.
Good work :)
Great job! Interesting concept. I would love it if there were more moves (like special moves) that you could do with combinations. All in all, great work!
really cool control scheme. reminds me of invoker from DotA 2
Cool Controls and concept, my small brain struggled to use them, but overall, Very Nice =)
Interesting set of controls. I learned them faster then I first expected. It made me plan out my moves more and I felt like in a turn based action strategy game of some sorts. 🙂
Unique take on the theme by linking the controls, maybe if the link controls would have been "j,k,l" I could have been using both hands to play :) . Well done!
Neat idea! The tank level is very hard, but fun to try to beat, it brings whole new level to the game. If you continue developing it, I can't help but wonder how a 4th button would mix things up. Keep up the good work!
Really interesting take on the theme! I enjoyed it a lot, and took to the controls faster than expected. Excited to see how this is developed!
cool game and fits the theme 100%. Slightly more check points would have been nice though.
great work
Interesting take on the theme, I definitely enjoyed it. Having to quickly press all buttons to shoot after a jump makes me feel really skilled, even if it's a pretty simple input. The levels are also pretty replayable which is always a nice thing. I did notice a spot where the player falls without seeing what's below them, I would try to avoid it.
Overall, pretty interesting and great work for 48 hours. Good luck with the Jam!
The controls fit the theme of the game very well and I like your pixel art style! Nice work!
Joining some keys for some actions is a great mechanic and a different take on the theme from the majority of the games. It is also interesting to see such thing in a platformer.
nice implementation of the theme! and it's cool to try some new way of controlling - to go out of traditional one button action. good experience:)
Not sure if the controls quite match the platformer gameplay, though that might just be me being stubborn. It just felt a bit annoying to be having to press 3 buttons each time I wanted to jump, rather than just one - plus the more traditional and streamlined input feels more comfortable for me.
But, I do think it's commendable to have tried a new control scheme! And it was executed well, it just might suit a more tactical game better, in my opinion. A game like Patapon, where you type commands out to a squad with this control scheme might be a more comfortable match.
Not sure.
Still though, this is a really cool little game. Good job!
