Yo! this game is crazy fun! haha Never thought of Tetris this way. The physics felt amazing and the faces on the blocks (I'm assuming it was your face) were hilarious.

I love the execution of this game. Really, good job n.n

Hope you can try out my game too

No, it's not my face :)

I like how the squishy blocks almost force you to not play like Tetris.  Because some times you just have to smash that piece in there, doesn't matter if it doesn't fit, you're going to make it fit.  I am not sure whose faces these are, but it's a fun ascetic for a silly version of Tetris.

Very funny game I enjoyed playing it. The only two suggestions i have is to change the "drop" command from space to down arrow (since I didnt read the instructions) and thought it was slow, and add more of a satisfying line clear animation. You might be able to go viral if you change the faces to famous streamers.

I should probably add a big pop-up with controls at the beginning, will do that in a patch soon, but the main thing I'm working on now is another game mode

Tetris under some serious and heavy drugs. I love it!
I saw your game before and said "mehh... not interested".... i would had regret soooo much of doing that! I'm very happy i've tried this weird version of that classic game.
I had funny moment during that last round. Put a block where it should go, but got stuck in some weird position (near the top) so I got angry, and the next piece I push it with the spacebar, but with angry! (which is NOT the same of just pressing the key)... it made soo much pressure on the pile under it, that i start to make lines on the bottom! I think I made at least 4 consecutive lines in that move!

Great work! Congratulations!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! When testing the game I could get like 50 lines just by smashing spacebar, so I made it quite less powerful. But you can still get a lot of lines with it, my record is 118(most of them were "legit" though).  Also, I will soon add another game mode which will add another fun element to the game, still working on it though

Will follow the game then!

Really funny take on tetris, I enjoyed it.

The game was really fun and pretty interesting!

The idea of tetris but with wobbly physics and funky collisions was really cool and just fun overall to play with.

I really liked the whole retro vibe you were going for, especially that warped screen effect thing.

Also can't forget to mention the game's sprites for each piece, which was of course top notch 10/10.

Jokes aside, the game itself was really well made, I'm honestly surprised I didn't come across any bugs in a physics based game like this, and it was just really fun, good job!

The physics are way better in unity 2020, but I still had to adjust a lot of things to prevent blocks from bugging out and getting stuck in each other ;)

Tetris - softbody - meme edition >.<

the softbodys look very statsifying wow :D good job.

Submitted(+1)

The whole game looks like one big MEME!

We seem to have forgotten that games are supposed to be funny sometimes :)

But seriously, the behavior of soft bodies is realistically implemented, and in general the game is pretty well done, polished!

Definitely cool!

I usually delete games from a jam (like everyone else), but this one... NO WAY!
Good technical content, good polish. Everything works great.

And...

Whose faces are these?

And...

Почему на фоне не "Коробейники"? :c

Very squishy. Looks delicious.

It's hilarious!

Do you remember that tetris game in the plague village in Monty Python & the Quest for the Holy Grail? When figures were made of dead bodies thrown into the hole and some of them were still alive? I haven't laughed this much at a tetris game since then!

It's anti-tetris in a way. The original game was about order and putting everything in it's place (even gave birth to "tetris effect" phenomenon). And this... Ah...

Especially I enjoyed the brute force tactics, when you just squish those poor bastards with space key till they start making lines.

epik gamer yes. I find this game very funny, but I dont get how it fit with theme, but still really fun twist on tetris.

Submitted(+1)

i feel like this is one big inside joke that I don't get...lol. Game wise it's definitely creative and graphics are actually not too bad! XD Don't really see how it fits the theme, but good job with the mechanic, it's actually really cool!

I'd appreciate it if you could play/rate my game as well! :)

Submitted(+1)

It's nice but not that fun and also i didn't see the theme in the game.

Submitted(+1)

Lol, not bad. A funny version of tetris. It's like those random youtube videos that come up in my recommended (if you know what I'm talking about).

Developer(+1)

You mean the cinema4d/blender renders, right? Yeah, I've always wanted to make a real game like that, and now with unity 2020 physics 2d I actually can.
