Very nice game! The graphics and audio were very good. But as others already stated it was very easy to beat because of the spam clicking .

In what way does your game fit the theme?
You must rescue the other Knights of the Brotherhood to gain enough strength to fight the Evil Dragon of the East
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Code: Yes. Models: Almost
The main character and the dragon were 2 models I made a few months ago. Although had to make huge modifications for them to work property as game assets

Hello.
I though of a shop, but i'm honest with myself... not gonna finish the game if I keep trying to make a mini Skyrim lol
The minimap was in my GDD, didn't manage to add it, cause I design the level in a rush, too late and near the deadline. But it will have in the future update, plus the level will be more fun and intuitive.
Thanks for the feedback!
This classic game of knights and dragons was really fun to play. Even though the level turned out to be quite simple due to the lack of time, the game still feels good.
The characters are pretty cute with good animations, especially the dragon with particle effects. But more than that, I appreciated that the units were able to bypass obstacles.
Great job, good luck with future projects! :)
This game was pretty fun!
The art style of the game was pretty cool, though the metallic material you used for some of the models like the knights were heavily shaded and just pretty different in comparison to the more flat/toon ish materials on the trees or skeleton.
Also the combat imo was fun, though unlocking the allies did make it really really easy.
The dragon at the end of the game was also especially easy, not sure why but they never breathed fire like in the screenshots and kinda just didn't attack at all, though I think it moved it's legs a little? It died super fast too because of all the allies.
Anyways this game was fun, and really nice for a jam game, good job!
Hello. Yes, the combat need more balance. I had to tweak them in a rush near the deadline, so I decided to make them more easy to kill. But with the 3 knights they become extremely easy.
About the dragon... I forgot to rise his HP... it was in test mode, but in the rush of making a "descent" level (in 15 minutes, 40 before the jam's deadline), and make everything works together, I forgot to rise it from the 50 points it has. And the idle animation between the attacks is long, cause I had planed a different combat, more fun and engaging in my head when i did the animations, but run out of time to implement it. So both things together make the dragon a disappointment for some, myself included.
I'm planing to update the game when i have sometime after the jam, with my original GDD, which will be much more fun than this version.
Thank you for your feedback. Nice playing your game too!
Great concept! I really liked the animations and graphics. My only critique would be that the combat aired on the easy side.
Really cool models, I like how the skeletons crumble when they are killed, along with the sounds effects. Great job on those. It would be cool to see a bit more depth in the combat, but cool concept. I love controlling a small army to do my bidding. I found I could run the skeletons around my other dudes, and they would deal enough damage to take care of them well I recovered.
Thank you soo much! Glad you enjoyed it! The skeletons crumble animation took me much more time than it should, so I'm happy you like it :)
The combat system was designed to be a little more complex, with at least a parry option and more aggressive skeletons. But due the lack of time, the parry was discarded for the jam, and had to lower the difficult of the skellies.
You didn't mention, but I hope you had found and defeat the dragon.
I've played your game... Love it!
I like the idea, graphics look alright with the fog, the movement feels nice and fluid. The combat is strange though, doesn't feel like there's any difficulty to it. Also I somehow fells out of the map
Hello. Yes, run out of time to tweak the combat system. At first the skellies were impossible to beat, but now they become too easy. For the upcoming update will make the combat better.
You feel of the map... yes... that happens when you build the entire level in 15 minutes, just 40 before the deadline, at 7:20 AM after 24 hs of being awake. You got a crappy level without any kind of testing :(
Anyway, thank for the feedback! Hope you can find the dragon... it's in the East of the map (right). You should find your fellow brothers before facing the beast.
I really liked the combat system, but the health really regenerates very fast even in combat. ^^
and you can see at some points that the map was done last minute (some trees and a house on the right side were floating)
I like that the game runs smoothly in the browser even if its an 3d game, good job!
Fun game ! I liked the graphics and animations.
I think its a bit too easy though.
-Your health regenerates way to fast
-Once you get close to a skeleton you just need to spam click and you wont get hit back by it
-The boss dealt no damage to me and I wish the fight was longer ( i like the stun animations though)
Short and cool 3d game, cute models and animations, and music seems to be nice, but it played once and never played again(
I'm impressed by how well your NPC knights behave once you liberate them. The game may have been a tad bit too easy, but I see from one of your previous comments it was difficult to balance. Overall, really nice game to expand upon. Really pretty models and animations too!
It was quite fun to play and the music fit the style very well, but I did have a couple of issues, I found the dragon extremely easy to beat, all I had to do was stand behind it and attack, and I think there should be a drawback for spam attacking because you could spam the attack button on the skellies and never get hit,
If you have spare time please consider rating my game and leaving a review as well
Thanks! Glad you like it.
The dragon difficult: I forgot to rise the HP more than the 50 "testing" points, so it's extremely easy. Plus, run out of time to design a good scenario for the fight (to avoid going behind it and wait the knights kill it for you). Similiar with the skeletons. At first they were impossible to defeat. So I lower their difficult just to make them fair, but I think I made them too easy. Only if you fight them alone, and they outnumber you, they become a challenge.
Thanks again for the feedback. Love your "Limbo" like game!
Brilliant game jam entry. I loved the way the AI knights were really effective. Honestly they might be a bit too OP though, the last couple of fights before the boss, I ran in circles around my allies and let them kill all the skeletons.
And on the boss, lets just say I backed up and didn't aggro the boss at all, and ended up with the victory screen without either dealing any damage to or taking any from the dragon boss! Thanks to the AI knights being able to facetank any of the dragon's attacks with literally no effort.
Not to say I am criticizing your game though! I thought it was an amazing effort for a 7 day jam, and one of my favorites so far!
Thank you soo much for you kind words! Very happy you enjoy the knights behavior. I know they're not perfect, but I try to emphasize the "stronger together" theme. I realize that when the skellies swarm to you in big numbers, they overwhelm and probably kill you if you're alone. But with them, it turns the tide of the battle completely. I need to make some balance on that for the update.
And the dragon: I forgot to rise the HP more than the 50 "testing" points, so it's extremely easy. Plus run out of time to design a good scenario for the fight (to avoid going behind it and wait the knights kill it for you.
Thanks again for your feedback!
I've played your game... it's just perfect! Congratulations!
Fun running around slashing up skeletons! Loved the music and 3d game! I may have been stun locking skeletons by spamming slash. Not sure if I was just lucky or what.
Wow! It's a great game and I loved the idea =) I think explaining more where to go at the beginning would have been easier. But in general, you did a great job!
Thanks! Absolutely right, my friend. The lack of instruction or map or something was the result of designing the level in 15 minutes, 40 before the deadline. I was planing to make a map with "you are here", but without a descent level... it was pointless, plus i wouldn't be able to made it in time.
Promise the update will be much more interesting in that aspect.
Thanks for the feedback :)
