In what way does your game fit the theme?
You have to find all the elementals and use their combined powers in order to pass to the next level.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
We wrote all the code ourselves . The assets are taken from the web, with the corresponding licenses of course.

Didn't expect to found this kind of Metroidvania style in a GameJam. You did and outstanding job with this game. Very well done!
The levels are amazingly well designed. Had fun completing them all. Last one was really tough... lost soo many times (one at the last jump, with the door already opened, fall into a set of spikes :( But tried again and ended it.
Also found a weird bug when jumping. I'm used to jump with W (old retro habits), but when grabbed the fire elemental, notice when jumping with W, the player shoot a fireball. At last level, when I need to shoot at the exact moment to kill the slimes, this was annoying, so start using the spacebar for jumping. Great... The issue came when my brain mix both jumps, and press W and spacebar in a moment of rush... and the player jumps like if I had a wind elemental Level 20! Doesn't happened always, but I manage to reproduce the issue several times (I didn't use as an exploit, swear it!)
If you're planing on expanding the game, would be nice to add more variety to the music. It's a great track, but feels repetitive after a short time playing.
Great job! Congratulations!
This was a nice surprise. Really neat game and good concept. I love the way the levels are built around the powers of the elementals. Great work!
-
The main menu looks good
-
The player’s walking animation doesn’t really look like walking - it’s more like hopping. I feel like it’s also quite slow compared to the player’s movement speed
-
The art doesn’t really mesh well together. On their own they look good but combined it’s all a bit jarring. I imagine this is because you used graphics from a variety of asset packs
-
Good visual feedback but some audio feedback would help a lot
-
When slimes die they continue moving while the death animation is playing which looks a bit weird
-
Some of the animations feel a bit unresponsive. For example, when the player dies there’s a bit of a delay between death and the animation playing which feels quite unnatural
-
The tiles flicker a bit while moving
-
I wish getting a new elemental didn’t automatically switch to it. There have been a few moments where getting a new elemental actually caused my death because I didn’t react in time (to switch back)
-
The spike hitbox feels a tad too big
The idea/concept of the game is well done quite polished, the first level is quite well done, explaining the core mechanics of the elements.
The walking animation could be done better, there is the small white line in the legs that sometimes shows, (probably an issue with the spritesheet?) and I'm not talking about the dagger by the way. The hitbox of the enemies should be smaller, it should be that you can tell easily that you have touched the enemy, it would nice if you could add some sound effects with bfxr.
But overall, I had fun playing it, thumbs up for developing a fun playable game in 7 days!
Great work! I love the idea of elementals. The death animation looks cool.
This was a nice game and fits the theme well. I like the animations very much. Music is also good.
Things I would improve: Go for more consistency in the pixel size.
Nice game. Good job.
I think it fits the theme pretty decently. Overall the games presentation is really good and it felt like a complete game. The main menu was really nice as well. My main gripe is the levels feel just a tad bit long and I feel like maybe my camera might have been stuttering in certain parts, leaving this odd view. But apart from that this is really good for just a week, great job!
It doesn't fit the theme all that well. I liked the art and music.
I really enjoyed this game! Every level felt like a mini Metroidvania. All of the powers were nice and gave me some serious Avatar the Last Airbender vibes too. Very nice game!
If you wanted to improve, I suggest giving each element both an attack and a defensive ability. This would open up gameplay a lot more with enemies that take more damage from a specific element and less from others. Some sort of collatable coin or hidden lore would also help to encourage the player to explore more.
Overall, fun game!
Super fun! Love the idea. The only thing is that is a bit hard. Or...I could just be a noob lol
Very cool concept. I like the fantasy theme. The game is a bit too punishing, but I enjoyed it.
I'd appreciate it if you could play and rate my game as well :)
Nice game! I liked the level design and the different elements giving you different abilities is a cool mechanic. I would suggest adding some coyote time to make the platforming a bit more forgiving and the UI was scaling weird on my monitor but that could be fixed quite easily in a post jam update. Cool submission!
a bit hard, i've been dying and starting everything over. maybe make some checkpoints.
but concept is well made, good job!
Very cool game! Reminds me of retro games like Castlevania and Ghosts n Goblins.
