Ranked from 64 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
Players shall summon heroes to battle for them, in order to defeat the dungeons. Summoning costs souls, which can be gained from killing monsters.

1-2 heroes will be very weak in battle, but as the players kill more monsters and gain more souls to summon more heroes, as the weak heroes will all attack together, the army of heroes will become very powerful and crushes all enemies on their way. That's how we interpret "Stronger Together".

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Some codes are learned from many tutorials on Youtube, mostly the procedural generation algorithm. We wrote our own AI, battle and UI codes.

Most of the assets such as characters, tiles, or sound effects are from asset stores on itch.io or some royalty-free music websites. We created some custom animations based on the asset we have.

Very interesting game!

Developer

Thanks for playing.

This really feels like a full package, especially for a 1 week jam game. Had tons of fun with it, great job!

Developer

Thanks for playing

Well thought out game. It felt very full for a game made in only a week! I was digging the chip tune music. The song reminded me to of the theme from Buckaroo Banzai lol.  I feel like the combat was a little too difficult for me. The reach of the players slash was a little too short, but I think this could be balanced out easily if you choose to continue working on the game after the jam.  Nice work!

Developer

Thanks for playing. The player's attack is meant to be weak, it's only for you to gain souls and summon heroes at the early game. The summoned heroes are the ones who are supposed to be fighting. Once you have enough souls and golds, you can upgrade your skills and hence have more souls to summon heroes, and let them fight for you. That's the point of the game. Indeed there's still a lot to improve, so thanks for the advice.

I like it but it repetitive

Developer

Thank you for your playing! And you are right, the temperate version is too repetitive, we have many new features in planning, include more rough-like features. We promised we will make it much more fun to playing in the feature!

What a legendary game. The audio, graphics, gameplay are insane!! This doesn't even look like a jam game! Hope you do big things with this game!

Developer

Thanks for playing, definitely. It is in discussions.

This was super fun! I loved the mechanic of delegating combat to your teammates. A cool combination of strategy and adventure. Check out my little strategy game if you have the chance :)

Thanks for playing :) will check it out

This game has an insanely addicting feedback loop, good job! I think the only problem I had while playing it was the occasional hero clipping into a wall when the doors close. Other than that, very well designed and polished! I hope you all take this concept further after the jam!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing :) We will extend the concepts further for sure!

This was VERY fun! Well done! I love the progression of characters and enemies! I wanted to just keep playing instead of getting back to work! lol

I'd love to know what you think of my game, if you'd like to try it out! :)

Developer

Thanks for playing and liking the game! Will try it out :)

This one is the best so far in the JAM. I really liked the idea. Played it a whole hour OMG!

Developer

So happy that you like it that much! We will make a full game in the future. Thanks for playing :)

Dang. This is what I wanted my game to be like. You really hit this one home with the Gungeon like hub area and the continuous upgrade system. Darn really amazing work!

Developer

Glad that you like it! We will make a full game in the future. Thanks for playing :)

Really fun game, the mechanics feel nice, and you truly have a sensation of raw power once you managed to get enough recruits. There's some balancing issues of course (like being able to lead the greatest army ever seen, on its way to one shot a poor Boss in a corner of a room), but it's Jam-related issues, so really no notable defaults in the game ! I do think that the enemy attack range is a bit unpredictable, and that the 'solo' gameplay is really difficult, but once you managed to get 2/3 knights, you're on a roll, with Nothing, and i emphasize on that word, being able to stop you.

Really fun to play, actually tested it on day one, and had a looot of fun, but only remembered now that i didn't rated it yet :/

Well, all done now i guess, I sure do hope you'll look into continuing the game, as the concept has a lot of potential, and is well implemented in the rogue lite genre !

Thanks for playing! We spent most of the time developing the game so didn't have much time to balance the stats. On the other hand, this makes players can enjoy the fun part of this earlier, so they don't have to farm a lot lol. We have decided to make a full game of this so you should see a better one in the future :)

This is one of the best games I played so far. Nice graphics, sound and gameplay. Really solid.

Things I would improve: Balancing. The game gets too easy really quick.

Well done!

Developer

Happy to hear that! We spent most of the time developing the game so didn't have much time to balance the stats. We have decided to make a full game of this so you should see a better one (but not easier) in the future :)

Solid game! I like how heroes always stand in a formation behind the player when not attacking, nice detail.
A bit too easy summoning the strongest unit all the time, could be more interesting if they had a bigger difference in soul cost and stats, so the player had to use each in different sutuations.
Has a few bugs: heroes get stuck on walls very often, doors can open when only one enemy was defeated and upgrade text doesn't fit fully.
But it's still really fun. With a bit of polishing, I could totally see it as a full game!

It's really fun to insta-kill everything with a barrage of fireballs.

Very nice game! Had a lot of fun while playing it and it was really fun to see the enemies getting shredded to pieces by the elves, oh god. It was a great play so good job! :)

It was really fun just to send your minions after your enemies. really cool game concept

Developer

Thanks for your playing!

A very nice game. Hoped for some final boss or the dragon to get. Sometimes my minions got shut by the walls, but it was fun.

Developer(+1)

Year, the room generation has a couple of bugs, we are planning to rebuild the whole map system. Also, more bosses will be added in the feature! Thanks for you playing~

(1 edit)

What fun sending minions, I mean friends, to go die, I mean battle, for me!  The bad guys didn't really have any telegraphing that I could notice, so it was sometimes really difficult to understand why I was getting murdered.  Also, I suggest not using yellow text on a white background (the shop) because it's super hard to read and, for me, the game's small on my 2k monitor on the web so it makes it even more difficult to read.  And clicking yes or no tends to get pixel-perfect at that size as well, otherwise, it was a blast to play!

Developer

Thank you for your playing and advice! We will improve both of them in a later version!

this is the best one i ever played, i like everything about it. I spend 20 mnt playing it hahah. how to unlock the dragonnnn

Developer

Really thank you for playing, happy to hear you like it. We are sorry for the bug of unlocking dragon  When players try to cut the rope to unlock elves if they attatck more than once, it will cause more than one elve been added to the list, which leads to the bug of cant to unlock dragon. Really sad we didn't find this bug until you guys suffer form it ><
