In what way does your game fit the theme?
Swarms with more bees can fight stronger enemies and clear snow faster.
After snowstorms, bees that freeze can be rescued by other bees!

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Code, Graphics and Music were made during the jam;
Some sound effects were made before.

Built with Godot 3,
Graphics drawn in paint.net (not a website),
Music arranged in Beepbox.

Also, this is my highest number of sound software used in one game:

some sounds are synthesized with Labchirp, some with Chiptone sometimes edited in Audacity, a few with Beepbox, and the wind is with Vital exported though LMMS. Whew!

why is it so only a week after submissions close i find out there are invisible enemies???

you know what, screw the web version. i never got that bug when testing and godot keeps having random bugs with web versions.

Hey, thought the idea of this game was really cool. Loved the playful look of the art and thought the atmosphere of the music was perfect. I've never done any music production so I'm always impressed by good music made in a jam setting - can't imagine making music alongside the development and art.

The gameplay strategy was pretty engaging, but like other people said I encountered some game breaking bugs like some crashes and invisible enemies. I also thought that the experience of having to precisely select the dot to pull out a specific number of bees you wanted was a bit tedious. Maybe having the dots be bigger or some other system would've been better for me, especially considering the time sensitive nature of the game. Good work!

This looks really fun, but I couldn't make it past day 1 because there were many game-breaking glitches where the enemies or the bees would be invisible or something. Anyway I really love the art style, and even though I wasn't able to play much of the game, I can tell a lot of effort was put into this, so Great Job!

Good and original idea, the artstyle is good too. There's some bugs sometimes that makes difficult to win every level. But it's understandable on jam.
good job

I loved it but sadly it has a few bugs which won't let me enjoy it fully. Visuals and overall feeling is great :) Very original idea...great job!

Developer

is that a pun or does it really have a game-breaking bug 0. 0

Submitted

It really has game-breaking bug :D I played in browser and I got killed by invisible enemy or I could not summon bees when they were ready.

Cool game, nice tutorial but I did get some confusing moments, don't know if it bugs or just me though ahah.

Speaking of bugs, For my game, I had a problem with the build, here is the fixed one, find all infos in description and please give me any feedbacks :) No tutorial it is all about discovering yourself :) https://lacrearthur.itch.io/univeria

it's really a good game, nice idea, the player has to decide between getting for pollen or defense at home, but it a little hard, I try more than 10 times and only get to the day2. two small ideas: 1. sometimes it's different to drop out the bees  .maybe make the dot at nest a litter bigger. 2. maybe you can show the path when the player sets out the bee, I know the bee cant pass ice, but it's a little hard to know where I am when action fast because the lazy guy is stell my honey! I really enjoy it!

This was incredibly well done! I could def see as a mobile game or something, but the art and music really fit the game well and there was something so novel about the gameplay! Just when I thought wow this is nice and relaxing YOU GOTTA THROW HORNETS AT ME! Still probably have much to discover in this gem you've made! Good job!

This is the second bee type game I have played in this jam, and I must say, that it's really nice. More than anything I like strategy games and i would like to see a game like this grow. Cute art, cherful music and also that, you can try how to play in tutorial.

Really good job

Really cool take on the theme and great art, i found the interactive tutorials nice and helpful but i did have a graphical glitch where i placed some bees which i then couldnt see. Other than that a lovely game with great sound design :)
