They are so cute! I absolutely love the cut out art style. I think it looks great! Very polished for a week's game jam, good work :)
This is a very good game, the characters art style looks like paper mario, the music is also good.
I really like the art style of the game and how look like stickers or something like that. The music was very good. Very fun and polished game. Keep up the good work!
This is pretty adorable <3 The puzzles were simple but nice, though I want to know what those dots mean whenever I'm near an interactable.. is it like the amount of power needed or something? Because that kinda confused me...
In the end I did enjoy the game, the paper style was really cute and the music is also cute :)
The art looks so sweet and cute! I liked the gameplay style of having to use each one of the possums for a different skill
I loved possum designs. Shotting little ones that you carry were also super cool. I managed to get under the collision a few times and see bulky red colliders, but there are even worse bugs in my game, I know how easy it is to miss those things during the jam.
Thanks for your comment! I uploaded in a hurry and found a minutes after that I didn't hide some collision boxes, and forgot to move some (specially in the end of levels), so I fixed it and upload again but was some minutes later :/
If you like the game a want to try a fixed version can play here: https://nax-89.itch.io/oh-possums-out-of-jam-version
Thanks for the feedback, gonna try your game, I thought already played it, but seems no
Incredibly adorable characters. Especially the push animation ^^. Love it !
Good job!
Awesome "mario paper like" art, really liked it(especially in fullscreen). Also the puzzles are not to easy and not to hard(expect of the one that is the third on your screenshots), so they are not boring and not frustrating either.
About the one that is the third on your screenshots it's just not straighforward that you can throw those little opossums on the log. Also in my opinion current opossum should have some specific outline or something, so you know which you chose. (And please don't make "space is not a jump button" mechanic ;) )
But overall you did a great job!
Taken notes from your comment! It will be improved for sure. We wanted some extra puzzles similar to the log one, and some way to "explain it" without tutorial, but run of time. The space was because was fast for me when development and can't decide wich key to use, in the end I forgot to change it. haha. I take recommendations for key mapping! (also for gamepads, because the game will be playable in couch coop mode)
Neat concept and i love the art for the possums (the smallest is my fave). I did find using space to switch a bit confusing as i kept on wanting it to be jump but it wasnt a big deal, other than that the visuals reminded me of little big planet and the puzzle design is good :)
Thanks!! we thought various ideas to activate switchs and mechanics in general, but was difficult to choose wich stay. So there's a mix of concepts to finish it before the deadline. We are thinking in improve the puzzle feedbacks, and add some levels after the jam. Thanks for your comment, this help us.
