In what way does your game fit the theme?
You need to put together all the puzzle pieces in order to see the whole scene. Player is stronger if the pieces are together, since if together, this endless runner is a piece of cake.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes I did, the link to the repository will be in the detail of the game and all the art/animations were made during jam in Aseprite and sounds and music in FL Studio by me.

Wow, now I am really surprised with your feedback. You are actually first one who have such problems. But the tutorial is the main page, where you are basically forced to try all the controls that you will need in the game, let me summarize that. The game is an endless runner, so you have a character, that is "infinitely" running and you need to overcome all the obstackles in your way. The twist is, that at the same time you need to complete the jig saw puzzle, as if you don't you will not see much.
Left mouse click to pickup a puzzle piece. Right mouse button to put down the puzzle piece.
To control the runner you need your arrows. Left to run left, right to run right and up to jump.
But really all of it can be found in the very first scene ;) Let me know if this helped! And thanks for trying my game
Super good idea, the tutorial and overall gameplay it's great, and give a lot of space to improve it. Congrats! Hope you expande it a little more.
wow i've never played something like this before! Damn that was difficult.. but nonetheless i've had fun playing it! Cool concept Jin :)
Cool concept, loved the menu screen.
It was easier for me tojust go blind and time to jumps right instead of have to look at the puzzle, but I got higher score solving the puzzle, so I guess that's a trade.
Well done!
Great game and idea. The music is great and almost everything is great :D
Maybe the game is just a little bit too hard at the start, I think it should start easier and get harder with time.
Probably one of my favorite games in this jam :)
THAnk you so much for such a kind words. You are right that the difficulty might be set up high at the begining, but it is just because there are only 3 puzzles visible. Once you see more, the begining is pretty easy and later on I add birds and spikes to make it bit harder. Unfortunately I did not have time to make better work on the balance the dificulty ;) But again thank you so much
I have to say it is pretty impressive game! I loved art style, music and gameplay. It is quite challenging game, but very unique. The only suggestion is to make drag & drop instead of click. If it was simple puzzle I wouldn't mind that, but since the core of the game is to avoid obstacles while running, it is quite hard to complete puzzle fast with so many clicks (at least I'm not used to it). Despite that I had fun!
THank you so much for playing and feedback. I can certainly implement what you suggest, but as I was playtesting the game during development, drag&drop was way too easy and would require to make the runner itself more dificult, that is why I stick with clicking option. But! It could be used as "easy" option of the game ;) THank you
I really love this game. The art, music and gameplay are great!
What I would change is that when the pieces drop back they don't go into only one place. More like going to the start or with a random position. It would be more clear to see what you have picked while focusing the player. Another idea would be a more difficult version with birds so that the top row has more impact in the choice of placing them.
Thank you for feedback. I have spend some time thinking about the placement of returned pieces, but I have came to the conclusion that a a single pile will be 1, easier to implement and 2, player will know exactly where to click and will not be wondering around, since it can already be bit chaotic :) Also, if player is focused, it is quite easy to know which of the puzzles was removed last and it will be on the top of the pile.
As for the second point, I wanted to implement few more things in order to make the highest row more relevant, but I had to step away from that as I wouldn´t be able to finish the core stuff on time. So now you can only reveal the score and number of lifes.
I love the idea and the art a LOT, but damn if I’m bad at it, haha.
Very fun to play! Took a little bit of time to figure out the controls but after that it was a fun puzzle game! Congrats I think this will do well =)
Would appreciate a review on mine when you have the chance!
Hey, I personally don't like puzzle games. But this is cool. Nice art, and idea. Congratulations <3
Very fun game! If you want to continue the game I would suggest to add phases where you get a little bit more time to place the pieces and have it be reduced as the score go up, to give a little more time for your players to get used to the pacing. Also you could add a timer on holding the pieces or make it reveal the level only as it is placed down. The art is GREAT, very consistent. Good job!!! One of my favorite entries.
Definitely a fun game and quite difficult even for a person used to multitasking. Something I think you don't realize is the theme fits even better since you could technically play 2 people with one solving the puzzle while the other plays the runner.
