I had a lot of fun playing this game, the music fits well and I love the Indiana Jones vibe... Unfortunately, I died just when I finally reached the boss and had to go back to the menu ;D great game, well done!

I liked it a lot to explore each area. The combat is fine even though I would have loved to kill the 'Sandworms'? with the fire trap :D

Great work! I finished the game! I loved the graphics and the way you set up the controls. Using both WASD and the arrow keys worked really well.  The traps in the rooms were very cool and I loved that I could use them against the enemies. The boss was really nice as well!

Wow!  This game was super cool.  It reminded me a lot of playing Soul Blazer on the SNES which I loved.  Nice job! Cool art and music and animation!

Beat the game! Very fun, and I had to dig deep to find feedback I could give. First, I wish there was music for the menu. Second, maybe a "back to spawn" button would make the game a bit less tedious, because when you get to the end of a path, you have to walk through rooms you already cleared. Third, I wish the theme affected the core gameplay a bit more. But overall, one of the best games in this jam and also on itch.io in general. Great job!

Also if you guys wouldn't mind trying and rating my submission that would be great!

I gotta say, it was a fun game. It gives me The Binding of Isaac vibe. But when I look closely at the animation, it's kinda weird to see the men boobs bouncing up and down weirdly. Still, it is an amazing game and I beat it at the second try. Great job!

Cool game! Good graphics and sound. I really like the character designs. I liked the idea of having the characters wanting different items as fetch quests, but i would like if they didn't feed into each other so much, like if there were more of the key items out on the map instead of being rewarded with most of them. The only other problems i had were sometimes i got 3 of the same room in a row and i wish there was something interesting to do while backtracking to the NPCs. Otherwise a fun game and a cool take on the themes.

Interesting graphics, I like the style. Sound was made good, too :)

Fighting system feeled very intuitiv and made fun. Different Enemies an even a boss, very nice.


The thing I don't liked was the actual theme disrupting the gameplay too much. The running back and forth in an then empty dungeon, was more of a filler, like in a lot of AAA titles to generate playtime xD

In my opinion a cellular automaton with respawning enemies would have fitted the theme better, something like this https://www.raywenderlich.com/2425-procedural-level-generation-in-games-using-a-...


But nonetheless a very good game. You have earned my 'Anerkennung' for that one

This is a very interesting game. The art is great. What you made goes a really long way and makes a game that can be unique each time.

Tbh I only played it once but reading through the comments and looking at the gifs you made, everyone has a different experience.

I wish I could have seen more of the game/rooms/enemies you made. In one playthrough there could have been more rooms, but I think this is short and sweet. Great job!

Art looks great, music sounds really good. Missing pick up sounds. Also took me a while to figure out what the NPCs are for, i thought you were supposed to press a button to get an item. Tried to go through all of my keys, but obviously it didn't work cause you just gotta go find the item they want and they'll give it to you. Overall pretty good experience!

It is a testament to the quality of your graphics and music that I kept playing this game over and over even though I kept losing. I don't have the skills to succeed at this game but I appreciate it especially the top notch proc gen.

This was a great submission.

  • The controls were cool, I liked that you could run in one direction whilst attacking from the other side
  • The art was really nice but it I think it could have been improved with small touches such has having more perspective on the blocks in the room
  • I liked having the map that slowly reveals itself
  • I thought it was cool that the traps also damaged the enemies
  • Also a nice variety of different enemies

Made it to the boss but couldn't quite beat it. Awesome job overall.
