In what way does your game fit the theme?
Its basically "Rewind" so you manipulate or Re Align the Wind to solve puzzles and save a hot air ballon from getting destroyed.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I did everything from scratch except the music!

This game controls well and has a really nice look. I had some trouble with the cloud part in level 2, I get that you can block the shots but it was still difficult. I guess my main criticism is that I wish it was a little easier so if there were checkpoints that would have gone a long way.

Developer(+1)

Yeah the missing checkpoints are a big mistake xD but I had no time to implement them :D

Awesome little game! Its nice to see a different interpretation of re-WIND 🤣 I love the graphics and your choice of music. Some feedback is that your credits are a little slow. (I looked at that first and almost didnt have the patience to wait) Maybe add a button to skip it. The spikes were an intersting obstacle, seeing how you can make them change size and position to turn into different types of challenges along the way. A thing you could do is choose something like a bird or plane instead of spikes (which fits the skies more) Overall its a nice, cute and short little game. Nice job for someone who just started out!

Feel free to try my game out and leave some feedback too. Im a young develper but im currently a little short on ratings. Thanks!

Developer

thanks for your feedback i will take a look at your game now! 😁

Nice game! I think the game could have benefited from the use of checkpoints, but other than that, really nice work!

Developer

thank you very much, if i had more time left i had implemented check points

Really cool game! I really thought the controls are going to be weird but it's surprisingly really natural! Really liking the music as well!

Developer

Thank you very much! I appreciate that you liked my game!

Well polished, no jank, thought the graphics and audio messed well. I think it could do with checkpoints, some of the levels were pretty long to lose and go all the way back

Developer

yeah you are right! Thabk you forr the feedback!

This was a very interesting game to play! The mechanics and choice of controls were definitely fun to try out! The tutorial was great as well! I always pride myself in a good simplistic tutorial.

Developer

thank you really much!

I really liked how the mechanics were smooth and responsive! Although the controls were unusual at first, but I got used to it. However, I don't really see how this fits with the theme. Great game overall! Hope you try mine too https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-4/rate/722968

Developer

Thank you for the honest feedback! My game should be a walkaround of the theme! I thought about you REalign the WIND

Submitted

Oh I see, clever :0. Hope you try my game tho :)

Developer

thank you! I will check your game now!

I could have used some checkpoints here =P

Did not expect the clouds to be solid!

The dangling wire is a nice touch.

Developer

thank your for the feedback i will update the issues after the jam!

the physics was good and also manipulating the baloon was pretty easy, i think you should put the colliders in the balloon and not include the basket, to make the game a little bit easier.

Developer

thanks!

This is really impressive for a game jam. The physics in this work really well allowing just enough control.

Submitted

I like it, though the game felt a bit tedious at times with the mechanic for changing wind direction. Nicely done overall though

Love the simple game mechanic! The simple background art is quite appealing too! Love the particle effect when the balloon pops too, really cool! Great game, really enjoyed it!

Submitted

The mechanic was very well implemented, in a responsive manner, good job there. I can see a lot of effort on the art with all that backgrounds too!

Submitted

good idea, unique one. But I just found the game slow and I think you should have put an alternative of rotation by using mouse (i'm using my pc mouse)

Submitted

Good work! I agree about the game is hard sometimes but I think that's ok! Is frustating in a fun way!

Good graphics also, I like the art style, rating done!

I would appreciate some feedbkac on my game if you like, thanks!

Developer

Thank you very much and art is a big point for me!

Submitted

Really cool game, but the game is a bit hard!

Developer

Thanks! Many people said that xD I think im not the best level designer xD

Unique mechanic! Game was enjoyable and moderate difficulty. I appreciate you allowing us to look ahead of the obstacles. Art was nice too. Good job and congrats on Game Jam! I hope you can check out our game too, leave a rate and comment! We'd really appreciate it :)
