How does your game fit the theme?
The world is out of control; humankind is out of control, and everyone, anyone and anything at the bottom sinks even more; we all die inevitably. Experience the out-of-control-ness of our inefficient waste disposal through the eyes of the most oppressed; the fish.

Very simple and basic game.  Great for teaching purposes!  Loved the sound and art.  Well done and finished.  I played it several times to increase my score.  More complexity as scores rise would make it more challenging once one has mastered the basics.

The game is very polished for a jam, great job! The lighting, art, sound and UI is charming and at high level. I like that it has a deeper meaning. It's a simple game with not much longetivity, but the score system motivated me to give it a few more tries. Really great submission, congratz!

For your first game jam, I have to say, the audio is great. I also like the nice touch with the quotes and how many there were. The art was also really nicely done.

In terms of critique, well, for gameplay there wasn't really much to do other than dodge the plastic waste (and im not sure if there is an ending or if it was infinite), but considering what you were aiming for id say it was alright.

Overall, for your first entry, not bad!

Poor fishy got to live in a plastic soup :(

Game looks  great and mad adherence to the theme for reals :)

Thanks for the review! We tried doing the thematic approach with the theme, and every detail went into creating that atmosphere!

Nice job, the artstyle is amazing, I wish the fish was easier to maneuver

Wow! this game sound and looks fantastic! The only problem is that the lens flare from the sun is a bit too much, can't see some of the plastic bags. Big thumbs up for this one 👍!

Developer

Thanks for the critique! It is really helpful having feedback, we will mix and tone the lights more carefully.

I loved the concept and visual execution, but having the fish be hard to control substracts from the experience and doesn't really make the game "fun"

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We shall prioritize the fun aspect of our games!

Did'n't really found the out of control way (Maybe because of the fish being upside down) but wow how much i loved the artistic direction, that's what made me a descisive choice to my rating in the "fun" part and of course pretty nice subject: all the trash in the sea, don't fuck with the ocean ;)

Developer

Thanks for the comment! We shall fine tune the controls. The art is really our best weapon so we tried giving our best with the atmosphere!
