Nice job! The style of graphics and sounds really fit the game. The gameplay is also really polished. Well executed. :)

Nice choice for the music. Liked how it kept me on edge.

this is a great game, love the art and its surprisingly polished

Love the aesthetic, and the gameplay is quite polished for a jam game. Great work!

Thank you so much!

I thought at first the game was just gonna be "the ship is out of control" and then be a generic platformer but you surprised me. I loved the timer making you push hard to finish levels quickly and the levels rotating very well polished and well done, the platforming physics were perfect.

My biggest complaint is that you didn't have dekstop download. The games audio was completely trashed for me and I had to mute it.

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm sorry you did not get to experience the game with audio since it is such a big part of the game. Are you using a chromium based browser? If not I would recommend using one, and if that doesn't work then I would be happy to get you a desktop build so you can experience it in its entirety :^)

Submitted

yes I'm using chrome, yeah if you want to drop a download link for a windows build I'll play it :)

Thank you for your patience! Here is the windows build: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jqLlw8KdSaFZRxOSrxL7zesM22cBFtXv/view?usp=shari...

awesome thanks I finished it this time, I was close to beating it before. I definitely liked the music. and microsoft sam giving rotation directions. I also didn't realize this was a godot game (that's what I used as well, I love it). Again super solid mechanically well done game. Thanks for taking the time to send me a desktop build.

Developer

Awesome, Godot is the future! Glad you got to get the full experience.

Wow. It's amazing how much polish you were able to get in. I really enjoyed this.

Developer

Thanks so much! The cutscene sequences took a chunk of time but I think it was worth it!

This game was super fun! I really love the pixel art and polish you put into the game!!!

Developer

Thanks!! I’m really happy with how the sun and space background turned out.

Submitted

It was engaging and I loved the presentation!

Thank you!

The visuals are very stylish and it's a perfectly competent platformer, but the mechanics are all things that have been done before; would have liked to see some mechanics that explored the theme a little more.

Developer

Thank you so much! We definitely took inspiration from some other rotating platformer games, and as a twist we wanted the rotations to not be player controlled so the player felt more out of control. If you know of other platformers where the player does not control the rotations we would love to check them out so we can see if there is things we can improve!

One of the best games I tried. Very nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! We appreciate it.

You could definitely publish this game! Simple yet fun! Loved the slowly growing sun in the background.

Developer(+2)

Thank you! We really should consider spending a few months to make this into a full length game.

This is absolutely one of the best games of the jam

Developer(+1)

Thank you! There is many great games in this jam and we were happy just to participate.

Consider expanding and sell this game, you would sell thousands copies. I can imagine playing it on a Nintendo Switch IT'S SO ******* AMAZING

Thank you! Very kind words! Making a full length game that we spend a few months on could be very interesting and we will definitely have to consider that.

Beat it with 10 seconds left! Dope music. Gravity and wall grab mechanics were smooth. I like that the rotation was at scripted times and not just random.

Developer

Wow congrats! We love that people are having close calls because it means you get to experience the song really building up, the sun getting bigger, and the screen tinting orange. Thank you for your kind words!

Submitted

Good job. One of the best so far. Controls were good and so was the humour.

Developer

Thank you!

Nice game, but I couldn't beat it because I had to start from the beginning whenever I'd hit something. Kind of frustrating. Please make nerf the lava so casuals can play.

Developer

Thank you! It definitely is tough if you have not played many platformers before, but you will get better if you keep practicing! :^)

Fun game with snappy controls. I like the added touch of the sun slowly getting closer in the background!
