This is one of my favorite games from this jam. It took me a while to figure out the slingshot mechanic, but then got really pulled into the tech tree, curious what dangers the next level would entail, and was ultimately sad that it already ends with the lasers. One thing I will mention explicitly is the soundtrack, because it is simply fantastic.

Awesome game! Would love to see it develop further for sure! Had a great time playing through what was there!
Really nice! The UI is super clean, the upgrade tree is satisfying. Had trouble killing even a single demon, not sure how many shots it takes but it feels like it should only take 1!
Still, great work, love the theme interpretation, visuals and audio are both nice.
Nice take on a progression game, and I wish I could have explored it longer, but I was locked behind hitting the anomaly - I had tons of credits, but never the skill to get the angle and thrust exact enough to make it to the anomaly, so, sadly, had to give up on the game when I suspected it was only just beginning.
That's surprising, I thought I left quite a bit of leeway for the anomaly.
I had a friend playtest it before and he didn't realize at first that you could "fly" by pressing and holding space after launching (once you get the thruster research), did you? Or if it's not that, did you notice you could level up some research several times by clicking them again? (Launch Power and Fuel in this case)
I wanted to add more tutorials to fix that but ran out of time before I could
I suspect your friend has much better reflexes than I do. I've never been able to launch with a better than 68% power (and, really, you don't want to know how many times I've failed to even clear the warp circle). Apparently my accuracy on the angle is much better, sometimes getting within +/- 3 of the optimal 45 degrees - but that doesn't seem to be enough to get the momentum for the flight time.
I tried again, and got all unlocks at green, but just never managed to get both accuracy and power close enough to optimal to get enough burn to reach the anomaly.
Very original! I was a little confused about what to do in the space exploration area after you've launched the ship, but the ship launching mini-game is a classic and quite enjoyable!
The start is a bit slow, but it feels great upgrading your ship. I really enjoyed it!
Good work!
Nice job with this game! I found the progression satisfying after getting to grips with the controls and grinding a bit. The UI was very well done, too. Well done on what you were able to achieve during them jam :)
I enjoyed playing this one. After passing the initial skill check, it's a simple receipe that keeps me coming back for more because I want to explore. Graphics are nice, I liked the colors, and the sound fits very well. One improvement I'd love to see is click to launch so the game can be played mouse-only as well. Very good game - nice work!
Solid game, reminiscent of the slingshot then upgrade style newgrounds game.
I absolutely love this one! As mentionned by others, I really hope this game gets expanded in the future. If I may ask, how did you get scrolling to work in the tech tree?
Not sure if you mean the scrolling background or scrolling the tree by dragging with the mouse (probably the latter) so I'll explain both.
For the background it's a tilled image on a TextureRect with a scrolling shader ( UV.x += TIME * speed; UV.y += TIME * speed; in vertex())
For the dragging, it's a bit more complicated but I put my tree inside a parent of type ScrollContainer, hide the scrollbar, then added custom code that save the mouse position when pressing left click, then if left click is held, compare the current position to the saved one and add the difference to ScrollContainer.scroll_horizontal and ScrollContainer.scroll_vertical
Here's the code with the drag and zoom if you wanna take a look! :)

Shame you didn't get to add more upgrades but I enjoyed it. It had nice progression and visuals. I also just like games with tech trees. Nice job!
This is a really neat idea, there's a good sense of progression. The atmosphere is excellent, almost mediative. I think resetting the player quicker would have been useful for allowing experimentation with different angles and stuff. Great entry.
I am a sucker for games with good progression, and this one had it. very well done. this was really fun. that glitch effect was sick, and whenever I got to an anomaly , that eye would just give me the creeps.
