Thanks for playing, happy to hear you had fun with it.

Really liking the game concept and I thought the controls are great - very responsive and fitting the game. IThe theme felt a little shoehorned. Overall, great entry - nice work!

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

The background I used is part of Ansimuz' Legacy Collection, a public domain asset pack. I used the two background layers "as is" for the game and edited some of the third layer available in the pack to make the objects passing in the foreground.

Nice game, easy to understand and quick to play. That mousetrap felt like I deserved it for trying to take a shortcut. Good job!

Great concept and I like how you included options to control with either mouse or keyboard. I feel there's a lot of potential but it could do with a bit of polishing, e.g. reset the cursor position when starting a new painting and allowing players to restart a painting. Overall, nice game - good job!

Nice little dungeon crawler. I liked the look and feel of it. I didn't quite understand the "unseen" game mechanic, I'm afraid - I first thought I could avoid traps or enemies that way but when that didn't work, I didn't get what I was supposed to do with it.

Really liking the idea and game concept, unfortunately I'm unable to leave the second room and get stuck on the right side of the screen.

Very nice horror game, I was feeling ready for whatever you'd throw at me and still got me good. Great atmosphere. Others have pointed out the text boxes already, I'd suggest another improvement: Give me some kind of visual feedback if I can interact with something, like an outline when I hover it with the cursor. Overall, solid entry - nice work!

Thanks, I'm happy to hear you liked it! I have some ideas on how to improve the ingredients list and a half-finished version with some bugfixes, hoping to get it done soon.

Thanks for playing!

Really liked the surreal atmosphere and overall game idea. The character felt memorable and I like how you even animated waiting times with a little dance. The game played smooth even with the web version, despite the flickering bug that was mentioned by others. Nice work!

Very fun memory game. I like the variety of cards which definitely supports replayability. Two minor points to improve: Some of the text above the spell effect after finishing is really hard to read (white on light green) and I was confused the game started with the options menu open. Overall, wonderful entry for the jam - nice work!

I enjoyed playing this one. After passing the initial skill check, it's a simple receipe that keeps me coming back for more because I want to explore. Graphics are nice, I liked the colors, and the sound fits very well. One improvement I'd love to see is click to launch so the game can be played mouse-only as well. Very good game - nice work!

Thanks for playing!

Great example of putting a little twist on a well-known concept. I really liked the idea but either my memory sucks or I'm too impatient because I was definitely struggling more than I care to admit. Something I feel could be improved is some of the colors, the red and green felt a little too intense for me and might also be a challenge for players with visual impairments. Overall, very nice game - good job!

Very intriguing concept! Especially given it was made in just four hours, I'd say it's pretty impressive since it's definitely playable and works as a game. I was struggling with the controls a bit and got confused because the mouse turned the arrow while the keyboard controls didn't seem to do that - but rotate the maze instead? Also, moving forward by clicking would have been a great addition to the mouse control. Overall, nice work!

That's a very good work for a first game! There were some graphics issues that created a grey background on the resolution I played it, I'd recommend that you use a fixed screen width and height in Godot and match that in the upload on itch for any future games. Stay the course and keep learning, all the best.

Liking the game idea and it was well implemented. I liked the way you made the lighting system work. One thing to improve for me would be the combat, I felt it was a little awkward to hit enemies and with limited ammo, there wasn't much room to practice. Overall, nice game and good work!

Liked the puzzles with the two worlds to teleport between. The graphics are nice though I wasn't really sure what was what. In general, I felt like purposefully introducing the individual game mechanics one after another to let the player learn your game and then throwing them into challenging puzzles would have made for a better learning curve. Overall, nice work!

Nice idea of being the villain of the game and I thought the character art was great. The atmosphere is nice  and  with the minimalistic representation of the map with tokens, it definitely nailed the board game vibe. I did feel like moving from room to room by first clicking on the map and then on continue in the corner could have been a lot more straightforward. Overall, nice game and good job!

I think the concept is great and implements the topic very well. Kudos for making it open source. Really liked the core game loop and the way increasing skills revealed more information. I think it's a great foundation for some polishing, especially the balancing: Maxing out one skill was usually enough to be very clear on whether or not I should allow a visitor and with enough points available immediately, there was no real challenge. What threw me off was "neutral" visitor that had only one sentence description for every maxed out sense, I thought that was a curveball and wrongfully denied them. Overall, good work and here's hoping you will continue the project.

Nice spin on survivors, very creative. I liked the diversity of abilities. The enemies' sprites looked amazing. It felt like the difficulty curve was quite steep. I encountered some audio glitches, otherwise everything felt solidly put together. Good job!

Nice take on the theme, the gimmick worked well. It got quite suspenseful when the monster showed up, also supported by clever sound design. I felt like the art style was combining too many different things from neon Tron-like colors to low poly 3D. Maybe less would have been more here. Overall, really nice game - good job!

Quirky little game, it played well and was pretty straightforward which I liked. Maybe that's mostly personal taste but I felt like there were too many saturated colors and not enough contrast which made the game a little straining to look at after a while. Overall, solid work!

The art is amazing! I also like the game concept and rogue-like elements, plus the risk/reward-decisions around the shop upgrades as well as the lamp usage. There's a lot going on in the game and I felt like I could spend a lot more time with it to explore. I would have liked some improvements around the controls - movement felt frustratingly slow, even with the upgrade, and hitting enemies felt awkward, especially if they were too close to me. Overall, nice work!

Really liked the game idea and message behind it. The gameplay was intuitive and I liked how you put hints for players to find. I thought the pace was nice and challenging but it's great you thought of adding a control for that. The art is cute and fits the overall vibe. I would enjoy to play an extended version with more rooms and interactions to try. Very nice game, great job!

Took me a moment to grasp what is going on but then I greatly enjoyed the subtle complexity of the game. The minimalistic text-only UI forced me to imagine what is going on. It took me a bit of experimenting to figure out how to balance my ecosystem but it felt like a satisfying learning curve. Towards the end the game things became a little repetitive and convoluted with all the species and attributes to keep track of, therefore would have liked a way to get an earlier ending. Overall, very nice simulation - great job!

Thanks for playing and your feedback!

I had a lot of fun with this, mercilessly revealing my obvious shortcomings when it comes to painting (with invisible ink). So far, one of my favorite entries in the jam: It's very unique, fun to play and has a great interpretation of the theme. Outstanding work!

Simple idea that works well. I really liked the quirky character and muffled mumbling. I would have liked a bit more depth to it, some kind of curve ball or something more to do beyond what I feel might be a memorable mini game to include in a larger project. Nice work!

Very nice and well-rounded game, the principle is simple and easy to understand. Controls feel intuitive but a little stiff. I like the pixel art but felt that the red was a little overused, especially since once I had the timer running out and it disappeared into a red wall. I would also have liked some smoother animations (not teleporting enemies when stabbing them, some reaction when getting caught). Overall, thought it was a very nice entry for the jam - good job!

Thanks for playing! Liking your description of the essence of the game that I went for and I'm glad that it resonated with you.

Thanks for playing! Happy to hear the tutorial worked as intended because I added it last minute and was a little afraid I might have overlooked something that could softlock the player.

Thanks for playing!

Really enjoyed the puzzles, the art was great and I felt the game was very solidly put together. I'd definitely enjoy returning to it for additional levels. Something to improve: I would have liked a reset button for the level. Overall, nice work!

Liking the idea and it's very well executed. I enjoyed the tight controls that made the character feel like it was very heavy but still precise and at a good pace. Nice work!

Thanks for playing and sharing your impressions, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

In a desperate effort to outrun the nuclear blast, I sprinted East. First, the music stopped. Then, the level stopped. Eventually, the timer stopped...

Great game and I like how the minimalist art style manages to convey all the required information to let the scenario come to life in my head. I was a little confused how to restart after a game over, so I pressed a couple of the keys which seemed to work. Overall, very nice work!
