Loved your team's game so so much !!! Such a creative take on the theme with the core mechanic and it's visually stunning as well!
Feedback on ours would be great - we didn't have time to finish a couple important story beats and including certain interactions, but we'll add them in a polished version after this jam is concluded!
Thanks! This is the first game I've made with my brother, and we're interested to know if anyone gets our humour haha. You're Not Welcome to Rennville by Distant Dimensions

Looking forward to trying your game too!
Yours looks really great and interesting. Mind you, since my team's project had an unexpected twist with one of our core components not provided by a teammate. Its barebones to what it should be. Though some bit of the story is still there. Here you can see it https://darknight10982.itch.io/lysteria
First of, I like how mix media-ish this is. And yes, there's a lot of development to do, and I'll be very honest with this, I've done with mistake before too
Never let the player do a lot while there's narration
in this scenario I was fighting and hitting the person that I completely missed the narrative part. I did this in my games too, regretted it during playtest sessions ahahhah, dont be like me!
Thank you, I didn't get any notification, sadly. Yeah it's very incomplete even the dialogue wasn't supposed to be like that, but you're right. We couldn't even put in 20% of the game in due to the circumstances. Not even more than 9% of the essence is present.
I think feedback and improvement is indispensable and appreciate and take note of what you've said, it's appreciated. The Project had a lot of work and sleepless nights even just on my end.
I don't let anything I do go to waste, or left uncompleted. I am happy with my team mates getting more recognition and hope they don't feel down too much. Also your game's really cool!
Yeah, the experience and opportunity for feedback is great and cant be underestimated. That's what I'm really just looking at getting now regardless of submission status it's vital.
I guess we had something perhaps, Thank you tho. Really sucks but I don't think the same would happen in subsequent jams. This one wouldn't be wasted overall, though
Here’s ours! You play as a witch and her cat exploring a palace on the moon (lots of astral vibes). It’s got a bit of a narrative going, though much of it is still a mystery since we’ve only got a demo. Can’t wait to check out all the other games here <3

I left a review on your game too. It was a nice charming starry night time game.
Hahaha THANK YOUU, I really enjoy playing different types of games. Really interesting how people think of just one word soooo differently, ,especially for this GameJam because generosity is quite a difficult topic, the wat TGC has explained the theme makes it even more difficult and thought provoking!
And yes, definitely give it a try and let me know what you think!
We will take that offer :D
We'd love to hear your input on what features to make our game interesting/intriguing of 8 or above in a scale of 1 to 10

OoooO, I've already played your game actually!
SOOO, A tutorial can definitely be of help in order for the players to understand what they are getting at and why they are doing what they are doing.
I got pretty high score (i think), but mechanic wise, I really like how its pushing the player to think what would they do to comfort someone. Honestly that is a very difficult task to design because the world is not black and white and y'all have done a great job at it!
However I do think, the fact that it's a card game makes it a bit less emotional? Rather it feels more like a strategy, Idk if ya'll wanted it to be that way. I really like card games, so I liked it but you can playtest that mechanic a bit just to be sure (cuz my UX brain was tingling)
I'd give the game 7/10. I absolutely love the art style so actually 8/10 but tutorial would be better for player's understanding and immersing me is what the person is feeling for me to understand what card I should be playing would help. IDK if I was able to explain it well, If you want me to sit down and playtest and analyze deeply, add me on discord - @zhuhu. I can sit on a call and break down the game mechanics and work together on it, if you are seriously deciding to progress the development more.
Hi, that's my game. I hope you'll like it - https://itch.io/jam/tgcxcoreblazer/rate/3629241
You have a great game with really unique take on the theme. I got nervous when I was very close to losing. However, I feel like the mechanic got a bit repetitive for me and it would've been nice if there was a reticle to guide me where I'm poiting! All in all, it's still a game that has prioritise quality in terms of UX, visuals and development, Great work. Keep it up!
Guiding Light by Alec
Very pretty and elegant game you have made. This is mine, if you find the tim
I'm glad I got to play this beautiful game, honestly. Thank you so much Alec. I felt so much peace. I love the personalities of different souls and the actions I was taking for them! it all felt so natural so peaceful yet beautifully sad. Even with blockout level, the visuals are highly appealing because of the trail VFX and the functional design. You guys have prioritized really well! Would love to play more levels of this game.
(oh and thank you for your generous compliment ahha)

OooO OMG HOMIEEE, RAJHASTAN!
You've taken up a very heartful narrative and combined it with the genre I used to play as a kid. It feels like home and has so much depth. You can build more on the narrative because it works really well for your game! I was sooo much more careful because of the narrative so I see what you did there!
This is such a cutue game omg. I felt sooo bad when my baby ducks died cuz of the obstacles and I did everything in my hand to save them with my movement but alas!
Really enjoyed playing it, its a very cute wholesome game, maybe the physics on the crocodile can help a bit with strategy because right now it's a bit stiff. But I really like how the progression level increases the difficulty, really fun!
please try ours! it's community exprimental game so the more people participates, the more you can see the impact :) https://42inchestomars.itch.io/dechomenon

Thank youu
AND WOW, I've never seen a game make me give a second thought for starting it! Great start
BRO. The humanoid version being and then turning into a ball to run is a crazy idea! It's so unique and so strong on game design concept OMFG! I love it so much. I love how it low key is also a parkour game! It took me a while to explore and find items but then I eventually figured it out. And it might be just me but I'm low key scared of the people around the fire, feels like they might eat me up or smthg lmaoo
Thanks for the offer!
