Hello everybody, I hope you're having a great day today.
Thank you for the warm reception of my work.
One criticism of the game, which I often saw in the comments, was the lack of a proper ending. That was intentional on my part.
You see, just because you gave everybody their flowers, doesn't mean that the events of the game *must* end at that point.
Actually, the game only started - and now that you gave the *virtual* people their flowers, it's about time you all get out of your comfort zone and start doing similar deeds for the *real* people, outside of your computer.
There are fewer and fewer people like David in the world, and as a result, there's fewer people who can appreciate such generosity and be generous themselves.
If nobody around us is willing to be generous in one way or another, perhaps we should be the ones who are.
With that said, thanks to the people who played my game, and I wish you a good night.
A wonderful game that, while simple in appearance, teaches the complexities of modern society and how generosity is received. I appreciate the contrast of humor and thoughtfulness shown in the dialogue. The super ultra gigachad boyfriend bit was particularly funny XD
Really cool choices with the music and art style! It lent itself to a very enjoyable unique experience :)
The vibes of the game is simply astonishing!
I strangely liked the colours and the art of the game, but I specially liked the background music.
The dialogues are all very interesting to read, and some of the things that happen(like the big husband appearing) are a nice touch. I'm not sure if it's just me, but it seems there isn't an ending. The only flaw is that it's too short...
Great job for this intriguing game!
I really like the aesthetic, the music and the way the game looks. Very unique and charming. I also enjoyed the gameplay a lot, running around and giving away flowers is such a wholesome act.
hey Chris here:
Loved every second of the experience. It's crazy how the art grew on me as I understood what you were trying to convey in the game more and more. I relate to your story very much, as someone who witnessed small town, New York City, and everything in between.
I hope some day, people will realize the large act of giving a flower to someone else--something that may seem so useless, but precisely because of its uselessness, elevates the act into the highest form. I always feel great thinking about the first time I gave someone a flower.
Thank you for such a beautiful art experience.
Simply marvelous. Every idea has been executed flawlessly.
One is a combination of every person they’ve ever loved. "Games" can be people too, can’t they?
Embodiment of "Don't judge a book by it's cover." The (undoubtedly intentional) rough visuals belie the heartfelt messages contained within. I really enjoyed the dialogue in this game! One minor bug (feature?) to report: I could bully the default RPG Maker guy for $2 more than once, so I bought both a sandwich and a beer. I believe that I interacted with everyone, but it's unclear if I reached the "end" of the game. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it very much!
Good stuff. Pretty punk rock. Reminded me of Bart vs the space mutants
Really great narrative! Touches upon such heavy themes with such simple interactions. Enjoyed playing it
I really like the dialogue, I feel like you had a story to tell
Love the weird visuals of this game! Really managed to make a unique and exciting experience! The colours could maybe be a bit more accessible but aside from that it was very creative!
Fun game, the red and green were messing with my eyes the whole time though lol.
Really love the aesthetics, but couldn't progress past the intro for some reason. Once the character approached the sign, he disappeared and I couldn't interact with anything.
Didn't implement a loading screen, sorry. Either wait, or try a different browser, assuming you're playing the browser version.
very cool interactions ! I really liked the music. Does something happen when you finish everything and you come back home ?
