AHHH! Its like Worms!! I loved playing that game when I was a kid. Took a minute to figure out how/what I was doing but once I got the hang of it, it was fun. I think maybe having a tutorial level or a premade map would be helpful cause the first map wasn't super useful.

I loved the artwork and the character, it was adorable! The QTE for reloading got really intense when I was also trying to fight an enemy and I loved that. Opening the doors in Loop 0 thought got really tedious and I thought there weren't any enemies at all until I found all the door pieces. Maybe making the portal a brighter color or adding some sort of effect on it would make it easier to see because I only ran into it on accident and then got the "go find the pieces quest".

Thank you so much for the praise!! I'm glad you liked it. And 😂😂 I'll need to look into who you should report to about those stink clouds

(1 edit)

The game had a super cute feel and it reminded me of my childhood watching wipeout except I was the one to finally jump on the bouncy red ball. The fishing was not really working for me.  I did notice the circles in the water after doing all the platforming but even then, nothing was biting.

Edit: I played again and realized you had to land the pole in the circles.

The QTE's are way too fast, I'm a decently fast reader but not that fast to read them all and process so I just started spamming the options lol. At first I thought you had to pick one and actually type it out so I failed the first level pretty quickly. I did really enjoy the concept though, very nice to be on top of the rich people AI boom for once instead of at the bottom.

I lost my doggy then I died :'(

The QTE's in the chasing down scene was a little difficult to see easily. Kinda wish you just used the arrow keys but that's just because I suck at QTE's and I panic when I see the letters lol

Fun and simple game. I wish there was like a loop or something so I could have had more snowball pushing room.

I'm so glad you continued this game!! I loved the art from Round 1 and it just got even cooler in this round. Serf is still my favorite playable character. Such a fun game!

My favorite quick-time was the typing one; I enjoy the fast typing games. My least favorite was trying to set the clock because I'm one of those people who struggle to read them ( I CAN read it, I'm just a little slow...not great for QTE). Still had a lot of fun with this game though! I also really enjoyed how simply the look of the game is but by adding the arcade looking screen really made this game feel like something special.

This game got so much cooler since round 1!! Some of the customers were kinda mean though and one told me I made a puke color (I made a pretty teal lol). Fantastic game! I wish the reviews showed both what they asked for and the final review so we could double check stuff. So much fun!!!

This was such a cool game! I loved this concept and definitely wish there were some more levels!!

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you liked the character, I wanted to make him feel very expressive and was hoping someone would notice. Tying out full words for the QTE would add a lot to it, thanks for the suggestion!! <3

Loved how I kept getting phone calls when there was an imminent black hole that I was approaching XD I was not good at this game cause I kept hitting the wrong keys on the password in a panic but the game was really cool!!

This was a nice game. Something the QTE directions would be slightly hidden by the environment walls so that could be something you could fix easily. I enjoyed the game and the QTE's were implemented very well.

Oof, I sucked terribly at this game but it was still a lot of fun. I liked the fish part the most but the knocking and emails were super stressful. I wish we had a way to change out the lightbulb when it popped though, I kept not getting to it in time and was trying to do everything in the dark lol

I added the last 2 levels in a hurry so I wasn't able to get playtesting in before we had to submit but adding more visuals on the enemies or a cone for their vision is something I wish I had time to add. Thank you so much for playing!!

Thank you for playing! The game is actually based on my cousin. She was stuck in a pep-boys auto service and really had to go so she texted me in horror because the bathroom was located in an area where everyone would know what was happening in the bathroom. She ended up staying in the bathroom for like an hour and when she left, more people were there and someone immediately went in. I was still in College at the time and was trying desperately not to audibly laugh in the middle of the dead silent art class XD

She did give me permission to make a game off of her poo-horror experience as long as she received no credit

Thank you for the feedback. I should have put a timer on the first QTE because if you're still using the WASD keys after you've triggered the qte canvas to open, it'll read it as an incorrect input 😅

Thank you for playing!! I'm glad you liked it 💚

Unfortunately no one was playing with me but I did reach the cube of victory so that's a win in my book. Great game!

I know you said you weren't able to get everything in that you wanted to but I did genuinely enjoy what you created for round 2! It was interesting going from playing tetris to then jumping through the blocks to literally reach the stars. Cool concept!!

Loved this game! Got 20th then 16th on the leaderboard, awesome submission. Your games are so much fun to play. This is like a weird mix of cozy and chaotic and it was great!!

This game was a lot of fun to play! Wish I was better at the QTE's though so I could have scored higher on the leaderboard

Loved seeing this improved from round 1! The character customization got a lot easier to use too. I will say that the QTE's were a little challenging for me at first cause I thought I had to just press them fast enough not also get them in the red lol. I wish  I could have read a little more of the beginning bits too right after you've finished making the character. It flashes on/off the screen so fast that I wasn't sure what was happening at first but after the word lengths changed drastically, I realized the game wasn't broken it was just story context. Great job!!

Depending on the theme we get for Round 2, I might. Before I ran out of time, the plan was to have the different options give you different stats and have people run through you that you had to successfully scare away before they make it to the end, like a little arcade game. Spiderwebs would slow down the people but not increase scare chances, baby dolls would increase scare chance, and so on for the others.

Loved the artwork in the game and I am grateful you didn't include spiders. This was such a cool concept!! Definitely one of my favorites I've played

I really enjoyed this game!

I love this game!! Its so cool that it turns into like a real toy at the end. Great job!!

I liked this game. One of the few games where you managed to blend customization with the gameplay without sacrificing one or the other. Great job. I liked that you could keep the critters too.

Wish we had some more options. And I love that you can choose to just remove her feet entirely lol. Great job!

With an intro like that, I really needed more!!! I like the character are just dice. I wish we didn't have the limit of "can't be higher than" just because it is a little limiting. Maybe being able to change their colors would be cool. Or different types of die (d4, d6, d10, etc). Awesome game!!

You still created an awesome game with a cool mechanic!

Great game, I loved the puzzle aspect of it and it  was easy to know which shape to jump to because of the numbers/shapes at the top of the screen. I don't think it was much of a character customizer though because if was more forced to be this shape or that shape to make it through the level, not a player's choice. Fun game though nonetheless.

The color needs to be adjusted to play it easier. I didn't get very far because the colors being so close to the same value was making my eyes twitch.

I loved the way the character design worked; the reflection in the glass. I also liked that the view changed based on the eye you picked, fun touch. I thought I figured out the game then I didn't. Cool concept!

I think this was a cool game. It was a unique take on the customizing the character challenge and I liked that. I will say it seemed more of a mechanic than a true character customizer especially since you have to change some of the characters to a certain size/gravity/jump to complete the platforming. Makes it more puzzle than choice. Still a cool game and I'd love to see it further developed.

When I checked this game before, I think it was just download so I'm glad its on web now too. The artwork is so cute and I want those blue boots I bought in the game, ngl.

I will say that since you can't remove certain items, it makes some of the items (the blue cloak) a little hard to wear and have it look right.

Lots of ways to customize the character. Wish we had a color picker so we could match colors. Cute art too!

The game was really nice to play; loved the animation of stepping on the enemies. Wish there was some more customizations though, felt like they weren't really important at all in the game. Maybe if you make it through more levels, squish X enemies, get certain high scores on the pole could give the player new ways to customize the character.

Would love to see more customization options for the game but I loved the simple gameplay you added.
