Thank youu! Really appreciate the kind words!

You can find it now, let @Blake know if there's any bugs, we would love make the gameplay experience better!

Thank you for your encouraging words!

Thank you for playing our game! While we did overscope a bit, we’re proud of the foundation we’ve built with BrushFire. The current demo represents the core of what we aim to expand and our team is continuing development to refine combat systems and introduce higher-stakes interactions,  guided by our evolving design document. We're constantly refining it to stay true to our vision and make the game even better.

Wow, what a ride this jam has been. I've been playing through so many of the games here, and I’m honestly blown away by the creativity, mechanics, and wildly different takes on the theme of generosity. From playful to haunting, sweet to deep; each one has expanded how I think about what generosity can mean. It's honestly opened up a whole new part of my brain (and maybe even sparked some future collaborations👀).

We’ve been so touched by all the love Note for the Lightless has received so far, it honestly means the world to us 💜. For those who haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, here’s a little nudge!

We made this small, poetic adventure where you use your voice and yes, your actual voice, to sing and bring light back to a dark, forgotten world. 🎤✨
You’ll meet strange little creatures in the shadows, listen closely to the note they hum, and gently match their pitch to help them heal. As you do, the world begins to glow again.
It’s gentle, emotional, and we tried to be as inclusive with voice ranges as we could. If you’ve got a mic and a quiet moment, we’d love for you to give it a shot.

And if it resonates with you, feel free to leave a comment, rate our game and share your thoughts on our itch page!

The game shows a lot of incredible features, really like that. AND IS THAT CLAYMATION shaders?? Please teach me how to do it too, it's sooo goood! I would love to learn!! add me on discord @zhuhu

I really like the game features, it's very mature and I can tell you are an amazing dev!

The thing is it's a pretty nice concept and really cool mechanics. I absolutely love jumping around like a monkey with this haha.
Just sometimes, I felt a bit stuck because I'm not sure how to use the mechanic in a puzzle if that makes sense. I took a lot of time to figure that out!

Pretty nice concept!

Very interesting interaction, would love to see it get developed more with some more narrative. I see what you did there btw with the mountain being the goal, very niceuu

Really fun game actually! Very strong character design and mechanics!

Thank youu
AND WOW, I've never seen a game make me give a second thought for starting it! Great start

BRO. The humanoid version being and then turning into a ball to run is a crazy idea! It's so unique and so strong on game design concept OMFG! I love it so much. I love how it low key is also a parkour game! It took me a while to explore and find items but then I eventually figured it out. And it might be just me but I'm low key scared of the people around the fire, feels like they might eat me up or smthg lmaoo

THANK YOUU! I made the sky animated material myself, it was so much fun!

Thank you for your feedback! It would really help us when we develop the game further!

HAHA would love for you to look forward to our projects!
And thank you for the feedback, I completely agree to that, we do plan on having more interactions and different creature personalities to show who giving is perceived in different ways

You guys still have great art and something to show! It's all an experience and learning mediums honestly. I also learnt so much during the process!
And thank you so much hehe

This. Is truly trippy and experimental. very abstract and the art is uncanny but beautiful! It took me a while to figure out the controls a bit

Really great concept but I THREW A STONE towards a rabbit by mistake, MY KARMAA AHHHHH
I love I start my life, in real life. Beautiful.

Really fun mechanics! It felt like chibi fortnite if it was peaceful ahahahah, VERY SATISFYING controlsss AHHH

Such beautiful art for real! Very eastern!

Looks sooo prettyyy

Really needed to hear that haha

I don't expect the build to be considered for the GameJam but can we please share a link of the lastest version on our page, so that players play a less buggy version of our game? We really want them to have the best game experience possible, we have received so many comments about the light being too low, would really like to pump it up a bit too!

Hope you like it!

would love for you to try this!

OMG, this was weirdly unsettling and scary game AHHAHA. Really liked the narrative! WHAT HAPPENS TO ME AFTER I DONATED MY ITEMS TO THEM??? OMGGG

BRO like this was really good, and every passing interaction was making me feel so anxious and fearful OMG.

Fun game! Engaging interactions and SUPER FUN LOOKING ANIMATIONS!

OHH YESS, this game I've already played it ahahahhaha
Really great animations and interactions!

This. IS SO UNIQUE. The peace I felt, just moving along with the stem animation, gazing at life's cycle. Just really pretty and nice.
I would especially love it as an interactive wallpaper!

Truly a piece of nature. This is exactly what an experimental game is, really unique experience!

Level design and navigation is helpful and prettyy

I felt so weird collecting babies from grass, like it got me so curious, why are they there, ,what had happened to them, lot's a scope for narrative, well done!

I love experimental stuff honestly! Very interesting to see your take on generosity in making a mutated creature, so dark and twisted makes it more interesting

I really appreciate the experimentation! The color and the audio is weirdly unsettling and that's the vibe you were going for, so you definitely achieved that! Although, If there was a tutorial it would've been niceuuu but once I figured out, it was weirdly dark, I like.

Really great narrative! Touches upon such heavy themes with such simple interactions. Enjoyed playing it

A flower saving someone's life, beautiful.

there you gooo

This is such a cutue game omg. I felt sooo bad when my baby ducks died cuz of the obstacles and I did everything in my hand to save them with my movement but alas!
Really enjoyed playing it, its a very cute wholesome game, maybe the physics on the crocodile can help a bit with strategy because right now it's a bit stiff. But I really like how the progression level increases the difficulty, really fun!
