Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
In Loop Island, each act counts, each smiling face is a witness to your impact; only by combining generosity and strategy, you will be able to discover the loop mystery, escape from the calamity, and maybe, break the loop forever.

Was very interested as it uses a similar concept to ours - love how much map you managed to get out, I've spent some time just jumping around the rocks at the sea front. The timer disappeared shortly after a cruise boat came in? I wasn't quite sure where to follow the story or how to help some of the NPCs out - maybe a small tutorial on controls would be good!

The animations are very fun and I appreciate the see-through guy at the docks too with his totally funny joke :')

Awesome concept, dope music, great execution with how detailed the options menu are, Although I'm stuck after passing the bridge, I took this cool picture beforehand, good job!

This game has style :o I can tell you put a lot of work in this! I love these kinds of town sims where you run around, meet people, and help the townsfolk solve problems. They used to have a lot of these types of games in the Xbox and PS2 era. Dark Cloud was one of those I sunk so many hours into (=^ ◡ ^=)

My frames were a bit low so I wasn't able to take in the full experience. Although I did find the platforming portion on top of the trees! Ultimately, I got stuck when I fell between the trees and couldn't move.

Honestly though, this game has an awesome concept ,and I'd like to play it more if you keep working on it!

Hey Tech Foxx! It's a shame to hear that your frame rate wasn't the best.

Have you tried to change the graphics settings?

You did a great job especially with the scope of this. Absolutely nailed the theme with all the people you're helping out. From the music, to the stylized animations, I felt very immersed.
Here's abunch of notes I took as I went of little things I liked:

Cinematic camera in opening is nice

Animations are smooth and oozing personality

Head looking where the cam is pointed

Music is nice

Light coming through windows / shadows

Teleported when I fell off the dock - liked not getting stuck in the water.

I like the wood sounding jump sfx

Camera looking at who you're talking to

You did a great job with this!

Quite impressive worldbuilding!!! The style is so cute!! Makes me think of animal crossing :) I would love to see and expanded verison of this, with more details and more quests!! Cleary was a huge amount of work!! Also the animations are very satisfying

Really fun design and take on the mechanic! The world feels so alive to vibrant and I would love to see a more expanded version in the futur!

hey it's Chris :)
I'm a huge fan of Groundhog Day, and I felt instantly connected with your vision. I love how the map feels to walk around and how the theme fit together with the music. It might be interesting to try giving more guidance and direction for plebs like me at the beginning--I knew there was probably a way to cross the bridge, but after helping the kid get the book and handling out flyers, I got stuck..
You guys should be proud of getting this going in such a short time!

Hey!! Chris!

Yeah, we need to work on the UX.

To cross the bridge, you need to talk with Captain Fernando, the guy who descends from the ship at 8:00 and walks to the inn.

That interaction triggers the main quest.

We wanted to limit the exploration area before getting that quest, so the player doesn't lose themselves a lot!

I like the time loop design, very creative. The town is very big and feels vibrant. The controls are quite smooth – I like the player moves quite fast.

There are some clipping issues here and there, and I hope there are more directions for the players at the start of the game.

Overall, very impressive 3D game with a big scope, looking forward to see what you can add in the future.

Hey Qiaozhi Lei!

Yeah, we have pending work on the UX, but we don't really like to introduce invisible walls.

For now, we just reduced the playable area to half while the player triggers the main quest. After doing that, you can access the entire playable area!
