I'm so glad you noticed the different dialog options! We did put a lot of work into writing multiple trees/paths for each character. Thanks so much for playing a few times :D

The purpose of school work IS to ignore it haha....based on something our team did in school lol.

A lot of the characters personalities were indeed based on people our team knew in childhood :)

Really like the small details like clicking on the cans and coin flip, the effects in the menu screen, flickering lights for atmosphere. A ton of polish in little places that stood out! Great job with generosity, it felt good to shelter those who I could.

Really cool choices with the music and art style! It lent itself to a very enjoyable unique experience :)

Beautiful scenery, going through the first set of arches with the parallax effect was gorgeous. Touching characters and art!

My only criticism echo's some other comments in regards to the flying. Perhaps being able to jump then fly would help things feel slightly smoother.

Overall amazing job with this!

This was really fun! The concept is so unique, it's really interesting trying to be generous in a situation with a language barrier.

You did a great job with the UI, and decorating was fun too!

I liked borking, especially because I started spam doing it while I couldn't see xD.

I unfortunately walked off screen while holding my harness which froze the game the first time for me. I would have liked to use WASD also.

Overall really cute game though, nice seeing this form of generosity!

Wow what an incredibly psychedelic surreal almost liminal experience. It was polished from top to bottom, I had a lot of fun searching for the stamps. Everything FEELS great to do. One of my favorites so far!

Notes of little things I like I took during playing:

Incredible polish, cubes going from world space to canvas space, crt shaders, opening inventory animation, surrealness of everything. Dashing instead of jumping feels good, picking up ominous horn sound/crows on dismiss, great fog distance. Oh hell yeah elevator jams. "Please refrain from interrupting" board room lol. Naming the dog artifact...losing it :'( ...

The pixel art and aesthetic was so well done, the writing too. The metaphors come off wonderfully not to vague on too blunt, I really enjoyed the artistic experience.

I didn't really know what to do and was unsure how the theme was incorporated. A tutorial in the future would be nice!

I really like the SFX for going invisible. I can feel the LOTR love in this.

The narration and cutscenes were done well, I like the cheer letting you know combat is over.

I do wish I had some other ability than firing the shadow, I couldn't really tell what the projectile was doing.

Nice job in the time we had!

cute game!

Flying was done so well, and hitting the rings is so satisfying.

You did such a wonderful job with the level design. From the tutorial to it leading to the view of the open field, to the yellow orb area to the islands. The grass shaders all windy, the tree leaves, it was beautiful!

Flying felt great, music was peaceful, and you incorporated the theme well!

I had a ton of fun exploring.

My only nitpick is very minor, when turning while flying some sort of lean in the animation blend tree I think would look good!

Amazing job, this was so fun and reminded me a ton of Sky!

It felt fun to play immediately, though it took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out how to plant properly. A tiny tutorial might have helped! I had a favorite tree when I was a kid so I relate to the boar that misses their favorite so hard.

The game is very cozy and you did a wonderful job! It was so relaxing to play.

Little details I liked:

Camera zooms when inv opens/dialog

Monkey cute

Seed pickup sound is satisfying

The little hover animation seeds on the ground do is nice polish.

Arrow pointing me home when it got dark made it obvious what I had to do.

I was so happy seeing my first flower bloom!

My only criticism is planting/watering I would have liked also on the mouse , and the plants felt like they took a while to grow. Was still a lovely experience overall!

Great VFX and the generation is impressive! Audio is also super well done. The multiplayer integration/elements must have taken ages, but it pays off, the concept is wonderful!

Wow I am such a huge fan of all the characters you created <3 It's especially impressive you took the time to give them all idle animations too! Nimbo's cousin was my favorite!

The dialog is great & the short story is rich and meaningful. All the hard work you put in shows in the quality of the art/animations.

I absolutely loved it awesome job.

My only criticism would be at the very beginning when it's time to move show the controls for a brief time. It took me a moment to realize the cutscene was over.

Love the setting and vibe, nice job with the art!

Having an optional intro was a nice touch! It made it easy to jump in with a good understanding of what to do.

I had a lot of fun, and the mechanics were unique. It was nice seeing where I could overcharge/give a discount.

Love all the little acts of kindness. The art is really cute too! You had a lot of different minigames with a lot of different mechanics which was impressive!

My only criticism is I'd either like a longer timer or a chance to read the instructions before the minigame starts.

Great job overall!

Wow between the graphics and the hookshot like grappler it brought my right back to my Zelda days. Loved how you crafted the environment. Bushes in just the right places so I know where not to try to go, bottomless pit shaded well etc.

The level designs were really fun and I loved the grapple mechanics. I played all the way through but only found 1 spirit so I might have to have another go.

My only criticism is that in the tower level with the moving grapple points, I felt like I was bouncing around for my life haha.

Awesome job with this!

thanks for playing and sharing a picture of your room 😁

Unity fakes each page turn by sliding the sheet’s corner along a calculated arc, pivoting a clipping plane to swap front/back images and shadows, then tweening the corner to its final spot!

We studied a few assets from the Unity asset store that were very well commented!

From an art perspective it took us abit to get scaling right for the crayon drawings. If we drew something too big or small scaling it in the engine made the image look super odd against everything else. We ended up sort of drawing background then scaling everything else in proportion.

From a coding perspective we went through many iterations of trying to get the timer and the 3 day loop right (still not perfect).

Both fun challenges to overcome thanks for asking!

You did an awesome job with the level design! I had a lot of fun with the gameplay, unlocking abilities etc. You managed to fit so much in.

Art and characters we designed really well too, overall great job with the game!

This is so cool to see thanks for sharing!

I liked the balance given to help out / take care of your own crops. Art style is very cute! It took me a little to figure everything out but once I did, I had fun!

Nice job with the Art! I liked the creativity of the UI though I lacked direction of what needed to be interacted with sometimes. (Especially the phone screen registering the booth)
Really liked the 3dish effects moving the mouse around you got by putting the art on different layers!

I enjoyed the art and Dialog! Very interesting therapy clients!

This is so well made and polished, from the lighting, animations, camera shake, and all the little things that went into adding juice, it came out so well! Puzzles were fun, I enjoyed the character interactions, and this was extremely memorable!

Wow this is one of the best submissions where being generous feels genuinely impactful.

I gave away every power but healing.... and knew I should have given it away too :')

The ending I got felt well deserved, and well written. Over the short game I quickly became emotionally invested. I loved the final boss fight, and when the music kicked on I felt it!

The combat was fun, engaging, and the powers were so fun to use. It made it extra hard to give them away being generous.

You did an awesome job with this and it was a joy to play through!

This is smooth and polished, I liked all the card effects & art! I love strategy games so this hit the spot.

The environment was really pretty and I had fun with the physics puzzles! Collecting all the follower fish reminded me of flower :)

The aesthetics were on point. The grappling took some getting used to but once I figured out it was more about momentum shifting than web swinging I got the hang of it!

I had fun flying around the map!

The minigames are fun, I like all the variety. Background scrolls very smoothly, so does the camera when you jump. The sound effects/music are cute and line up well!

I missed a few cats and must have gotten a bad ending, my poor groceries haha.

Fun game nice job!

I like the intro cliff hanger haha, I need to know the ending. Dialog and writing was well done!
Gameplay wise I only vaguely knew which item was which, some sort of mouse over text or description would have helped me a little. I also didn't seem to be able to progress past my first plate. I loaded it up, and tried every button I had available to submit the order/proceed but it didn't seem to work.

Cute game! I like the auto movement with the player in control of the environment. There were a few times I fell outside the map and had to manually respawn myself, but you included backspace to restart!

Dialog in loading screen was a nice touch. The character controller felt really smooth, I enjoyed the giggle when picking up hearts. As well as the interactions when swimming through seagrass/plants. Then discovering I could plant the plants was so cool!

Also omg Ash...they are to cool for me to talk to too...

The dialog was good and puns were in just the right places.

Music helped blend everything together.

I finished the game and enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks for creating this!

I understand the choice to cast spells, but hitting C then Z for each one wasn't my favorite. I would have just liked to set one spell to Z then change only when I needed.

I like the empty heart collection reminds me of Zelda, and I'm excited to see where you take things!

This is so polished and charming. I really love the different tones for each of the different color lights as well as the dissolve effect used to phase in/out items.
The audio design was done so well between the cat purs and the restaurant chatter.
I had so much fun playing and helping each kitty <3
