This was really fun and reminded me of Chibi-Robo a little. Exploring was fun and you did such a good job crafting the vibe. Awesome job!

Art style is wonderful and reminds me of Nomada Studio's work with the shapes/shading.

Day/Night mechanic was easy to figure out and fun! Implementation of a map was really cool too. Really appreciative of the flow/animations of the cape of the character.
I really like the subtle white geometric particle patterns, added to the environment a lot!
Waiting for the tree to grow as day/night passes was an awesome implementation of the mechanic as well.

Awesome job with this!

I loved the art style! I wasn't super sure what to do all the time, but it was fun to play.

This was a really cool unique concept! I especially enjoyed the ability to push/launch the other play as part of the puzzles!

WOW, this was incredibly beautiful and fun to play through. The way you had to shift perspectives to figure out where to platform at some points + the architecture reminded me of Gris. The love and care you put into this SHINES in the polish, all those frames for the cloth! I love the jumps being phases of the moon, and the ending was beautiful. One of my favorite games I've played so far in the Jam, wonderful job!

I like your reference to the theme! The distance from dogs was helpful too. Things didn't feel 100% finished but that's understandable given the time limit we had :) I particularly enjoyed the character portraits in dialog/combat!

Happy 😊 - I'm so glad you enjoyed the game. Thanks for playing! I'm glad it was clear how and where to keep going!

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you appreciated the art! I'm a programmer first and this was my first big foray into doing all my own art, hence the very simple style :)

I really enjoyed the art style! Also a subtle thing but the way you had the camera follow the player then stop slightly after they do feels very cinematic. I quite enjoyed that little detail of polish :)

Wow I'm so glad I stopped and took the time to play. Going through the motions in this manner of sculpting, painting, photography combined with the message of the game was so fluid, beautiful and polished. The poetry of the words used was also beautiful, and it felt the perfect length. Nothing overstayed its welcome and the point was driven home.

This was wonderful!

I loved the art style, the minigames were also incredibly fun and engaging as well as just the right level of challenging. Cute sound design and plot, I had a great time playing!

After beating the monster here, you should get a short cutscene with the dog and progress by moving over the snow mound to the right :) Thanks so much for giving it a play!

Thank you SO much for giving it a play it means the world to me!

This was super fun to figure out, you did an awesome job making this in such a short time. I got to stage 5 and died with just the dragon remaining and I can't wait to try again!

I remember seeing you post progress on the discord and being super excited to play! You blew away even my expectations. The game is so beautiful, I don't know what kind of shader magic you used to mix all the visual effects but it's gorgeous, atmospheric, and was incredibly fun to play through. It felt polished, tight, and fun :).

This was really fun, my best score was 56 on Large. Easy to learn hard to get good at. The pressure of the disappearing icebergs was a great touch.

Thank you for playing!

Thank you so much for the kind words!!

I loved this take on the Jam especially seeing the hands on the steering wheel. It felt really fun to play, and being able to see top down AND the first person view felt really smooth. UI layout is great overall. This is a great game.

This was so cute and I played a few times to find the fastest route. I love the take on the jam and capturing the feeling of a crush.

Thanks so much for giving it a play! I worked tirelessly over the period of the Jam to get the whole project done, never would have finished if it didn't line up with the US holidays giving me extra free time 😊

Unique idea and very fun! I like the SFX/Music.

I particularly loved the music, what a sweet cute game!

Wow things are beautiful, charming, fun, and on point with the theme. This is an incredible game I had so much fun playing. It's adorable and well polished.

I liked this take on the theme!

The visuals are stunning, and the gameplay was really fun! Something about typing the monologue of the character was really engaging in a unique way I've never seen before!

I was watching your progress on the Discord excited to play! I love the aesthetic you accomplished!

I'm so glad you noticed the different dialog options! We did put a lot of work into writing multiple trees/paths for each character. Thanks so much for playing a few times :D

The purpose of school work IS to ignore it haha....based on something our team did in school lol.

A lot of the characters personalities were indeed based on people our team knew in childhood :)

Really like the small details like clicking on the cans and coin flip, the effects in the menu screen, flickering lights for atmosphere. A ton of polish in little places that stood out! Great job with generosity, it felt good to shelter those who I could.

Really cool choices with the music and art style! It lent itself to a very enjoyable unique experience :)

Beautiful scenery, going through the first set of arches with the parallax effect was gorgeous. Touching characters and art!

My only criticism echo's some other comments in regards to the flying. Perhaps being able to jump then fly would help things feel slightly smoother.

Overall amazing job with this!

This was really fun! The concept is so unique, it's really interesting trying to be generous in a situation with a language barrier.

You did a great job with the UI, and decorating was fun too!

I liked borking, especially because I started spam doing it while I couldn't see xD.

I unfortunately walked off screen while holding my harness which froze the game the first time for me. I would have liked to use WASD also.

Overall really cute game though, nice seeing this form of generosity!

Wow what an incredibly psychedelic surreal almost liminal experience. It was polished from top to bottom, I had a lot of fun searching for the stamps. Everything FEELS great to do. One of my favorites so far!

Notes of little things I like I took during playing:

Incredible polish, cubes going from world space to canvas space, crt shaders, opening inventory animation, surrealness of everything. Dashing instead of jumping feels good, picking up ominous horn sound/crows on dismiss, great fog distance. Oh hell yeah elevator jams. "Please refrain from interrupting" board room lol. Naming the dog artifact...losing it :'( ...

The pixel art and aesthetic was so well done, the writing too. The metaphors come off wonderfully not to vague on too blunt, I really enjoyed the artistic experience.

I didn't really know what to do and was unsure how the theme was incorporated. A tutorial in the future would be nice!

I really like the SFX for going invisible. I can feel the LOTR love in this.

The narration and cutscenes were done well, I like the cheer letting you know combat is over.

I do wish I had some other ability than firing the shadow, I couldn't really tell what the projectile was doing.

Nice job in the time we had!

cute game!
