Really like the look of this. Even though I was struggling with the combat I kept coming back to it to try again! As others have pointed out, I think sound and boss telegraphing could be worked on. Also, I still feel like I am missing something about how the main attack works, but still, this is really far along for a game jam game. Nice work!
Liked this game! I really appreciate the execution of the main mechanic and it felt really good to chain multiple jumps together. It didn't feel super intuitive to use A and D to aim, and I would echo the feedback others have left that aiming with the mouse might have felt better. But still, great job overall!
Guys this was genuinely an extremely charming and fun game. Amazing work. The writing is really sharp and funny, the story is really satisfying despite being pretty short, and the art style is great. My only bit of feedback is that the platforming sections (mainly the tower and bubble sections) are pretty punishing for a game that is otherwise more character-driven and cozy. But overall this was fantastic - I hope you two continue to make games together.
This is very cool concept! I like the way you explored the theme and it feels good to be generous here in a way that doesn't feel self-serving in any way. Well done. My only bit of feedback is that at first I didn't realize I was even piloting a character because my model was blocked by trees, but other than that this was great.
