Creative Vision / Rationale / How Did You Incorporate the Theme
We were inspired by the idea of generosity being giving back to the Earth as well as to your community. We played with "growing," both in an agricultural sense as well as to your neighbors, and how that could be integrated into gameplay. When you give back to your fellow farmers, eventually the good karma loops back to you. We want the player to strike a balance, of caring for others, but also caring for themselves, as in the case of them giving away all their power and food, they cannot survive the winter. To be generous to oneself allows them to be generous to others and to the world they inhabit. When we discovered that Mancala uses "seeds" and that playing a turn is "sowing," we were inspired to use that as the backdrop of our design. Thank you for reviewing our submission!

Very cute art and music, I really liked how you interpreted the theme.
It's really enjoyable, though I couldn't quite understand how it works, so I just kept clicking some buttons and still found it quite fun to play :)
Congrats to everyone involved in making the game.
The aesthetic is very pretty ! the game reminded me of the board game mancala! very fun
I like the art style of the game and the idea of generosity. It's also nice that you have a tutorial. Great work!
I liked the balance given to help out / take care of your own crops. Art style is very cute! It took me a little to figure everything out but once I did, I had fun!
thanks so much for playing!
Cute little game! I love the art style! It feels a lot like a story book for children and the values really reflect that! I also think the Mancala integration is super interesting!!
thank you so much for playing!
I like your incorporation of Mancala into your game! It brought back a lot of memories of my childhood. Spreading all the seeds and capturing tiles was really satisfying!
Thank you so much for playing :) while brainstorming this game we went into club penguin to remember the rules of mancala; the childhood nostalgia hits for me, too
