Sure! Also I'd love to see what you use them in if you can send the link whenever you have something public 😄

Hi, glad you like it! Yes, that's fine, as long as you specify what is being credited to Distant Dimensions

Wow, thank you! I really appreciate the support! I've sent you a small thank you email ;)

Very polished game for the time frame, well done! I thoroughlyenjoyed this adventure, from the characters to the story. The puzzles were just hard enough to be a good challenge, but easy enough that I was able to solve them without becoming frustrated. And the ending... Amazing!

Ok, no worries, sorry you couldn't get it to work. It is probably something to do with Windows 11 then since I made the game before it was widely released. If I upgrade to 11 I'll try work on a fix.

Hmm, unfortunately they don't give a lot of detail. It might be because of Windows 11. The only three options I can think of are;
1. The download could have been corrupted somehow, so redownloading it might be worth a try
2. You haven't extracted/unzipped the downloaded folder or it somehow broke while extracting
3. Your computer antivirus is falsely blocking it

That's all I can think of, so I hope one of those might work for you. It is a very small game though, so it might not be worth the effort if you're spending a lot of time trying to get it to work 😅

Hi, unfortunately I don't have Windows 11 so I can't test this. Can you send a picture of the error?

No worries, thanks for the kind comments. I hope to someday be able to release a full game of Rivet 😁

Hi, this was a game-jam game that I made completely from scratch (hand painted textures, models, animations, music and so on) by myself in just 5 days, so that's why it's so short.

As for the $1, that was for a support/fundraising event. The game is usually free, and I forgot to set it back to free, which I have now.

Sorry for the expectations, I'm glad you still managed to enjoy it even though it's short.

Thanks! The whole game and everything in it, from the graphics and animation to the music and sounds, was made from scratch by one person (me) in just 5 days, which is why it's so short. I hope to expand it one day though.

Thanks! That's the plan if I develop it further.

I struggled to understand it at first, but this is a very interesting puzzle! I find this kind of puzzle very frustrating, and I wasn't able to finish (I managed to place all but 2 tiles), but that is my fault and not the puzzle. I did find it a bit hard to place the tiles where I wanted them due to the semi 3D effect, but I thought the graphics style was very nice! My favorite part is the cute cat voice and it's wise words of encouragement.

Overall, a very nice little puzzle, well done!

I like the overall feel and idea of this game, but unfortunately, I was unable to finish because it was very hard for me to steer the fish (I think it would be better if they moved a bit faster) and they kept swimming round the egg and feeding it to the octopus 😅

But I loved the atmosphere and the interpretation of the theme!

A very nice game with a lot of story and dialogue! What really stands out to me is the interesting character designs and animations, and the graphics are also very beautiful. I love to see how this series is still being expanded with more story with each new entry!

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! The world is completely randomly generated, and so does indeed go on forever as you dig down, unless you find a key and door. Story is something I had wanted to include, but unfortuanly ran out of time. But in the future I definitely want to extend the game with more content, as suggested, and after the game jam I think I will make the option for keyboard controls as well.

Thanks, I'm happy you were able to apricate the game even if it is not the type of game for you. I had a lot of fun creating the submission and I found the theme very interesting and it helped me make many design choices I wouldn't have thought of.

Thank you! I'm glad you managed to get used to the controls 😂

Thanks! Communication is something I'm trying to get better at, so hopefully you'll see more progress in future.

Of course, this game deserves as much love as went into creating it! 😄

You're welcome!

It really does give the feeling you intended then! Great work!

Very interesting game, well done! The graphics are very unique and add to the quirky feeling of the game that is matched with the score and sound fx! This game definitely used the restriction of the sound to it's benefit, and the credit song is very funny and my favorite part haha! I must admit however that I have not yet managed to make it past the door with the password, but maybe I will be able to progress eventually.

Again, well done, especially in the sound design!

Simply amazing that this game was made in the jam time frame! The story is nice and well written, the charters design and writing makes them feel real and lets us become attached to them (I want more haha!), the puzzles were great and kept me busy for around an hour in total, and the art and graphics are perfect and so polished!

Really well done, to all involved!

Haha, nice little game experience! The best way I can describe it is a "sweet nightmare" if that makes sense, because it feels like a funny light hearted dream, while somehow still feeling like a disturbing nightmare.

Well done!

Thank you for your feedback and thanks for playing!
If I ever update the game I will keep what you said in mind.

Unfortunately, if I make it that you can move the platform with Fred on it, then you would be able to solve every puzzle without having to jump around in the puzzle, because you could just move Fred to the exit

Maybe after the competition has finished being judged. 🙂

Thanks for playing! Sorry you gave up, the game had a lot more planned for it, but I didn't get to finish it in time for the jam. I didn't know there was a gap in the invisible wall, I'll have to check that. 😉

Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!

Hey everyone! I just finished my entry for the LEGO Ideas x Unity game jam/contest. This is my first game made with Unity. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Game trailer:

Game Story:
A vital piece is missing from the foundation of the kingdom, causing it to collapse. The Queen has asked you to go on a quest to a secret cave to find a new piece and bring it back to restore the kingdom before it is too late.

You can play the game for free here: Quest for the Missing Piece by CP-Dimensions (itch.io)
Thanks for playing!

Thanks, I'll look into it. ;)

If you are asking what you need to put in the credits of your game if you use this pack, then just give credit as follows:

There is only one slime included (slime orange). Are there supposed to be more?

From Wikipedia "Myst is a graphic adventure puzzle video game". No offence, but if Myst isn't an adventure game, then I don't know what is.

Maybe we can leave the ending open ended?

I meant to say that Myst made the genre widely popular with the general gaming community. It was the best selling game in the world for 10 years.

I was going to participate in this jam, as I love adventure games and making adventure games, but I think the theme is a bit to specific. If the theme was just A Delusion it would be fine, but your description of that is more like an actual games interpretation of that theme. I wanted to make a first person game like Myst, since that's what I'm good at and I consider Myst the best adventure game of all time, since it practically started the genre, but now I don't know if I'll be able to do that since the only way to make your character seem to have a different idea to the player would be to have them speak. And I don't know about everyone else, but that is quite a bit of work for a jam and I don't just have some free voice actors readily available. Maybe next time the theme can be a bit less specific? The best themes for jams are when they are very broad, but still specific enough that you have to only start making the game when the theme is announced. A short phrase usually works well. Some examples of themes for jams I have participated in are "All's fair in love and war", "On the other side of the coin" and "Myths and Legends: Far away and lost". Those are very specific, but allow the game dev to interpret them in a lot of different ways and yet still be specific to the theme. Your theme seems a little restricting to the game that you can actually create, meaning a lot of the games may have similar ideas.

Thanks! I had seen the Robots movie, but I didn't know there was a game. I see now how the logo looks similar.
