A cute game with simple, but charming an cohesive art, great sound design and sfx, and a fun gameplay loop.

I enjoyed my time with this one. I do wish I didn't get kicked back to the previous level when failing one ... or maybe it was just the level I was failing that did that (first time you have to avoid the moving ball).

Great work overall and awesome solo dev entry.

Hey, this is fun and clever game. Only the theme graphics seem to be taken from the another game...

You would add this playable on mobile devices; played with virtual joystick or AI based click-to-move controls. Maybe you should add some flying objects around the levels and more detailed graphics. Also adding some checkpoints or chaptering would be a needed feature for the enjoyable game play.

Matches the theme completely! I love the idea of the falling blocks and the change when you grab the last food. It definitely needs to save after every "level", as I lost on the 3rd one with the cherries and had no desire to play through it all again. Overall it was well done!

Liked the concept of the game and the aesthetic was super nice and clean. As other have said, it's a bit punishing starting over but would be keen to give it another go should you do a post jam update where you just restart the level. The other thing I noticed is the momentum of the bean seems to carry over to the next level after you complete one which kind of throws you off. Great work overall :)

The characters in this game kinda look sus

Developer

The very basic form of sus but yes the inspiration comes from that :D.

nice and calming  game with some nice puzzle-like elements but it was more annoying than fun starting from the start instead of doing the level again and figuring it out

Developer(+1)

Yes, I made the wrong decision about starting all over each time player fails. Thanks for your time :)

Nice game! And I agree with what the other commenters said.

Thank you, appreciate your comment :)

I agree with bl4st, would've been nice to have check points. Music kept me calm, it's really relaxing music. It's an interesting concept for a puzzle game, would  love to see a version with a little more polish and flow. It was quite the twist the first time I saw my red blocks flip like that. I liked watching my blocks fade away into the fog as I crossed over them.

Developer

Thanks for your comment and thoughts. It was a design decision that not to have a checkpoint but it was wrong and resulted as annoying rather than challenging depending on player feedback :D.

Good job on your sumbission. it was a bit painful to restart everything on failure 😭
