Simple but fun! I liked the art style; it's pretty charming. The mechanics were pretty easy to grasp. There were a lot of hiding places but they were placed pretty evenly. The only real issue I faced was the collision with some of the walls. Sometimes you can get stuck by the entrances to rooms.  Good job on this game though! I liked the simplicity!

I love how the aesthetics remembers me retro games, also how sound design is very well produced, great job uwu

This was a sweet little game and I appreciated the fact that the dude wasn't too hard to hide from :3 I'm the kind of player who turns the difficulty setting to whatever is the easiest whenever I play stuff xD So I was able to complete it \^_^/

I ran into a few invisible walls sometimes (not like complete blockades or anything, just kinda like walls extending past the graphic or something, I don't know how to best describe it >.<) but it wasn't a big deal. I wish I could hide in the toilet x3 I did try, but it wouldn't let me, haha.

Oh, my brother watched me play this one and he said that the intro story text at the start was too fast for him to quite catch all of it. It was fine for me, but I guess he reads a bit slower. He was fine once we were inside the house with the text there, it was literally just the bit at the very beginning outside of the house that he struggled with. Maybe there was a way to slow it down or pause it? I dunno. He's a moany bugger anyways xD He won't even look at the stuff I make just cos he thinks it's weird that his sister makes games!

Wow thank you for the incredibly detailed review and for playing the game. Yeah It's certainly not perfect, still learning the craft of building games with unity, but I was pretty happy with what I got done

Thanks for making it :3 Yeah, mine's definitely not perfect either, haha >.< There are some little bugs that I just didn't have time to fix cos there were some new things I was trying out on Tyranobuilder that I hadn't done before! Just kinda wanted to experiment really. I tried looking online for help, but it seems like the issues I was having are things that haven't been discussed much by other users of the engine, so I will need to contact their support and wait for help, haha.

Given how bare the game feels at times, you do a really good job at creating quite a tense atmosphere! The map feels a bit big for the amount of things to do in it, especially as the enemy is a little slow and easy to avoid. I also came across a couple of objects where the icon for hiding popped up but I couldn't hide (the TV and chair), but this didn't detract too much because there was usually another object around I could use. Great job on the look and sound, a solid entry!

Oh I agree, I had intentions of adding more art to the environment to fill the house, and more enemies just ran out of time.  I also did notice the items that you couldn't hide behind after I posted lol. Oh well. Appreciate the feedback and you playing!

I felt like I was playing a good NES game! Great aesthetics, great job!

Great game. The monster was easy to avoid though.

A bit Clunky but still pretty cool reminded me of playing games like this in the late 80s on dark autumn nights and i loved the Ghosts only thing i didnt like was choice of Font

yeah clunky sums it up pretty well lol

This was a solid game. The sound design was great, but the monster was really slow, and it didn't appear very often.

Good attempt at a game, think the art could be improved a little making this a really fun game!

Nice hide-and-seek concept, and the sound design is great!

Moreover, I found a little bug when walking, indeed, if I maintain two inputs of movement, then I release only one, the walking animation doesn't update, it keeps the old rotation of movement.

Overall gg for your work!

The core mechanics succeeds in creating tension, and overall the game has a nice atmosphere. The main theme and the sound effects are particularly nice. I won on my first try, so maybe the difficulty could be increased a little. Nice job!

It feels nice to hide under all sorts of objects. Tthe sound of each one of the hiding spots was pretty satisfying.

I think this was a fun little game to experience. There was not a lot of story or gameplay, but the monster definitely had me on my toes.

Developer

There were cutscene, but when I tried to publish the game in HTML, the game would crash when the cutscenes played. I added the game as a downloadable file that contains the cutscenes if you are interrested! Thank you for playing!

It’s a fun little game, thank you. I missed the third key and had to double check the whole map, but in the end I finished. In my opinion the enemy could be a bit faster. Nice art and music :)

There was a lot more I wanted to add to the game including more items to the house and more enemies, just didn't have the time. Oh well, next time! Thanks for playing!
