How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
This is a puzzle platformer game where player have to shoot leaves and collect bug (referring to ladybug, not a game bug). In order to do that, player need to abuse glitch in the game. This glitch is a common error in physics based game.
This is the glitches included in the game (WARNING, THIS LIST CONTAINS SPOILER ON PUZZLE SOLUTION)
- The gun used for shooting leaves can be aimed through walls
- Horizontally moving platform not carries player (turned into slippery platform feature, but not part of the abused glitch)
- You can get pinched by wall and moving platform, this can cause the player phase through wall
- Moving platform can press button like a player do
Did you include a fake publisher splash screen at the start of your game?

Very clever bugs used!
Great game! :D
Nice puzzles. I enjoyed solving them.
The arts and the sounds are a bit lacking, but the gameplay is fun so I did play till the end.
The hints are a nice touch, I found myself needing to use them on a few levels.
Overall nice levels, could have done more on the art side, but nevertheless enjoyable as is.
Simple, yet brilliant puzzles. Enjoyed all the levels. However, the music was automatically turned off after two levels. Maybe that’s another bug!
The sounds could use a bit adjusting as the music was pretty loud and it didn't loop when it finished, but the overall game was pretty fun. The levels were pretty creative and I especially liked the bonus ones. Great work!
Great concept and idea. simple and fun. very enjoyable, i wish when music ends it repeats again. The SFXs was perfect. that button added so many possibilities to the game. the amount of levels was perfect. and the last level was funny. overall great game
Clever game. So simple and elegant, I loved it. The additional tips really helped. A little more on the visuals and this would be a great game. The idea is definitely there, and it was right in line with the theme. I thought this was great for being done in 3 days. Hats off to you!
The game is very enjoyable to play! SUPER!
really well done game! The visuals and mechanics may be simple but the subtle puzzles and intricate details really stand out. The discovery part is really interesting as well having the gun stick out past the walls. I required a hint for that. Like others mentioned, the music can be a bit loud but I enjoyed the music mix. There is a bit of glitchiness/clipping in the music (not sure intentional or not) but I think fits well with the theme. Great level design as you mentioned and can see a lot of potential. Great game!
Very well made! I love the level design
very cool game, the level design is very interesting, and the mechanics are nice!
Damn nice. Volume slider would be a nice addition, it's a bit loud. Cool to see mechanics learned along the way being applied throughout the game.
I liked the aiming and triggering system and the sounds are really cool, thanks for rating my game.
That was surprisingly fun! While the visuals might be a little lacking, you seem to have a knack for puzzle design. I agree with the others in regards to how clever this was, especially the bonus levels.
The bonus levels were amazing, maybe could have been expanded on a bit more (Not enough time probably). The rest of the game had awesome puzzles and was very fun too. Maybe change the moving platforms so you can move with them horizontally without walking.
The moving platform bug is actually the one feature that I don't like. But when trying to fix it, it messing with wall glitch so I leave it there. Thanks for the feedback!
Very precise theme integration, fits the Jam perfectly. Great job!
Thanks!
5/5 STARS! Finished all the levels + Bonus Levels, Also found 2 solutions to the Final puzzle. This game is delightful and it is so well designed. Every victory feels immense and the puzzle solving was challenging and fun. The game communicates with the player, and creates some really amazing moments. The "Bugs" are curated in to the gameplay in amazing ways.
Awesome! Glad you liked it
As others have stated, the audio is a bit loud. The AudioStreamPlayer2D has the DB setting, if the audio file you import is very loud you can set that to a max of -35 DB I think to bring that volume down. Otherwise download Audacity, great audio program to manipulate tracks, and you can adjust the track volume, then export to Godot.
Great concept and good entry point for a puzzler/platformer style game. Don't worry too much about ART at this stage, I start all my builds off with different sizes of the godot icon. It works and allows me to focus on mechanics. Well done, keep at it!
Thank you! I did adjust the DB setting but it looks like my sense for audio volume has not developed yet.
I loved the level design very much, may be my favourite game so far!
Love that there are some rules and those rules are followed but also there are bugs, but bugs are also rules. Game is very cool, congrats!
P.S. Music is not looping, plays once for a few minutes, then stops
Yea I realized that the music doesn't loop, I use godot and it loop properly when debugging. I saw in discord server someone else also having this issue
Game is fun, but you need to work on your audio. Music is way too loud and there is plenty of distortion in the audio and clipping - if you made the music yourself, please make sure to not set every channel super loud in the track. Probably check out some mixing tutorials. It is actually hard to listen to and I am surprised no one has pointed that out yet in the comments.
Otherwise, really fun game.
Thanks for the feedback, definitely I need to learn more into audio part of game dev
Very fun. I am impressed how finished it is. Would definetly play more levels like this, with new mechanics maybe or just trying out the existing ones. You introduced the features really well.
