I got fired :(. But the great art made up for it.

As others said, the visuals are nice. Why did you choose the candy world? I think it's really cute, I was just wondering why candy.

Also the game mechanic is very innovative imo. I can see you put a lot of thought into it, handling them in the air, starting the spawn loop again when they disappear. Overall great job, even if you couldn't implement everything you wanted due to time constraints, as I can see from the other comments. I had the same problem TT

Good Idea of using an actual glitch you encountered for a fun and unique game mechanic.

Yes, it's definetly very barebones, but thank you for your honest feedback. I wanted to include some control hints but just didn't have the time. I also planned on having a little cutscene at the start, that explained the lore a bit, but what can you do.  In the end it's really just the core mechanic, controlling each axis seperately, which I could implement.

Thanks for playing :D, or atleast trying.

Only found 4,  but fun little game :D

Really fun, perfect for this game jam. Had to play it again to  get a better score. Maybe I'll try  to top my PR of 45 some other time.

shink

Very fun. I am impressed how finished it is. Would definetly play more levels like this, with new mechanics maybe or just trying out the existing ones. You introduced the features really well.

Good Idea and it's very nice that you implemented so many levels. I would really like a way of boosting the knight out of a situation where he's stuck, in a corner or between two vases etc. so you don't have to restart all the time.

For example, what does curse do, how do I damge my opponent etc.

I tried playing it, but I don't understand, sorry. Maybe you can add some instructions and screenshots? Reply to this comment if you do, I'll give it another try then and rate you.

As you said, you didn't follow the theme, but it is a very fun mechanic nonetheless . On the third level I couldn't find the last enemy to kill.

Very creative and definetly a good interpretation of the theme. Trying out the different mechanics was fun. At first I only used invert gravity and flip guards, i think for the first two or 3 levels, but later you really had to think for a bit.

He wasn't like this when I first got him :(. Interesting story, really complemented by the nice art, especially in the ending cutscene. Is there more story to come? Maybe some background info on the good bad boy?

Very Creative Game Mechanic. It definetly implements the theme well. I would like some hints, but that's just because I have a massive skill issue xD

Very cool idea, I'll definetly play it again some time. Would be cool to see a bigger map/some exploring. The lore seems very intriguing.

Thank you. Maybe I'll work on it a bit more in the upcoming days

That sounds like a good idea, thank you for the kind words :D

Really nice art.
Is it intended that the boss battle not load? I waited a minute for something to happen after the application not responding screen, but nothing happened

Hey, I think my game is pretty absurd, you are a balloon and have to guide a child through traffic to collect as much candy as possible

Hey Fufu, would love it if you took a look at my game, I'll leave you a rating as well when I have time later today or tomorrow

You have to collect as much candy as possible while avoiding getting hit by a car.

Hey, would love it if you took a look at my game, I will check yours out this evening aswell, when I am back home again.

Are you the car or the child?

Glad you had a good,if short, time. I am really happy that I managed to make a full game loop this time, my last game jam ended in a mess of a game xD. I also found the mechanic of cars crashing really fun. While playtesting it sometimes saved me from certain death when a car heroically sacrificed itself for me.

Yes xD. Glad you found it funny, that was the intention. Because the cars are on a set path it technically would be possible to learn where they will turn, however it is still really hard to dodge them, I agree. I also never got over like 20 candies. Although I am sure that if you would play extremely careful it would be possible.

What is the goal?

The music and vibe is nice, and I really like the setting/ idea, but the gameplay itself is really frustrating. Just Blindly trying out each combination without any hints whatsover. Maybe there could have been some information about each ingredient, that hints at with what it can be combined.

That was unexpected, but really nice, glad I am not the only one who was a bit more gory.

Thanks, made the game way more enjoyable for me :D

Very nice visuals and music. I like the way you get thrown back when you hit a wall.

However, as others pointed out, it's a bit hard. Maybe make some indicator to how high the jumps is going to be/show when you fully loaded the jump? For me it is very hard to gauge the jumps otherwise.

oh, i didn't realize there was an intended way to go wrong, but at the start of long bouncy pipe upwards, you can bounce to the right side and fall of the map

i managed to go wrong lol

Is Level 7 the last one for now?  Cute graphics/music. What is the connection to the theme?

Thanks for the feedback! We also thought about letting you cut multiple times, but I didn't have any time left to implement it.

So clicking the part of the fish you want to weigh and then it automatically gets put on the scale?

Thanks, I really hope that on my next game jam I'll manage a more finished/polished game.

The art is great. When you throw the biggest shadow possible, you never get hit by meteorites and you never need to make yourself smaller, as far as I noticed. So that kind of nullifies the new aspects added  to the dino game, that are otherwise very creative and fun. And so polished.

Although I first want to get better at Godot.

I get that, Coding is really fun, even though I just started. I just love it when you figure out something that really bugged you. Maybe I should try coding a game without a Game Engine aswell.

Works everywhere btw, cool concept. Rated
