Neat card game. Would love to see it expanded with more polish like better visuals and sounds.
It was kinda confusing for me though, even with the explanations, so I just kinda play cards randomly and was able to breeze through the first few levels, then it suddenly got pretty hard.
Overall good job for submitting. Would like to see you make post-jam updates to this.
It's cool that making cards cursed gives you an advantage, but it really would have been awesome if it was balanced out by some sort of negative effect. Though I understand that not everything was fleshed out in time, overall it's a sweet little game, nice job!
Thanks for your feedback! I would like to share that cursed cards ARE actually balanced and there ARE consequences for using them, but this could be found out only on the last 4th level...
Spoiler: all the summoned cursed cards will be against you.
The game really isn't clear how you're supposed to play it. Some better instructions or a tutorial would have been good.
Truly I thought about adding tutorial level, but unfortunately because of time limit wasn't able to make the game as ideal as I wanted...
I think this format of card game is super fun! I like the idea of losing functionality of systems as something to sacrifice to survive!
Thanks for your feedback!
Was a bit confusing at first but I got the gist of it eventually
Thanks for the comment, I wanted to make a tutorial level, but eventually failed in time management.
Reminded me of Inscryption a bit. Simple but fun, and the randomness of the card placements forces you to improves at times. Took me a second on how to place the cards tho, but I may just be slow
Thanks for the feedback!
I tried playing it, but I don't understand, sorry. Maybe you can add some instructions and screenshots? Reply to this comment if you do, I'll give it another try then and rate you.
For example, what does curse do, how do I damge my opponent etc.
