I found the gameplay a little complicated, evaluate me if I can
Honestly, I don't know what happened, but this game on my firefox was bug in a not fun way, the camera keept drifting to the right, giving me some nausea, I was about to give up this game, because I thought it was intentional, because of the jam's theme, but I've decided to double check in another browser, and wow, much better.
The idea of having to manage five controls are pretty cool, but it needs more polishing, like, the A/D controls feel super weird, W/S would've worked better. More visual feedback, for like when you are in the state of controlling the ship, some sounds effects. and a goal would be cool, as I don't know what I am looking for...
Overall, pretty cool idea.
Cool idea! Agree with other comments about fullscreen option and changing the A/D to W/S. Otherwise v solid start :)
at first it was weird with controls. but i get the hang of it. it would be great to have a tutorial to play. the visuals looks great. it also dosent have full screen button. i think with that it would be great. the art also looks cool.
I think I would have to play the game a bit longer but I neither figured out what I was supposed to do nor I see the connection to the Game Jam's theme. But the I like the Art Design espacially when your ship starts bouncing it felt very realistic :)
It is a bit weird using A/D for moving up and down. I have a guess, initially the slider should be left/right but there is a change in design decision into top/bottom
Nice visuals, fullscreen option would be a nice addition, at least i couldn't find a way to enable it. Also i thought that maybe Up and Dwon (or W and S) can be more suitable for the vertical moving steers? Great job overall!
Took me a hot minute to figure out the controls. Didn't get what the point was but I didn't get very far once I figured out I was actually moving. I would have to spend some more time on this one! Having some sort of dialogue or ship manual explaining controls/lore would make this game begin smoother :) Wasn't sure if there was any sound? I can see this being the base mechanics of a story game for sure!
Yes, it's definetly very barebones, but thank you for your honest feedback. I wanted to include some control hints but just didn't have the time. I also planned on having a little cutscene at the start, that explained the lore a bit, but what can you do. In the end it's really just the core mechanic, controlling each axis seperately, which I could implement.
Thanks for playing :D, or atleast trying.
The idea is amazing, definetly has a lot of potential! i wish the graphics was a bit brighter)
nice concept, and very cool game!
pretty flippn epic and could be a standalone horror game
I think it would be a lovely coop game! I can see the friends complaining about going too left or too right already x)
I hope you'll continue working on it! Congrats on the submission :)
That sounds like a good idea, thank you for the kind words :D
Seems like a cool idea, would love to see it more fleshes out ^-^
Thank you. Maybe I'll work on it a bit more in the upcoming days
