Spent a solid 2 min trying to use WASD lol. My fault for not reading the instructions. Very fun game! I loved bouncing between the pink platforms.
Play silly game

How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
I wanted to make the player clip OUTSIDE of the walls, not INSIDE (oopsie)

It took me 4 mins to realize there is dash in this game XD... that was my bad. very funny game, The SFXs were amazing i loved them so much. it was a relaxing one. i love the idea of this game. Great game
This game caught me a little off-guard. I didn’t expect to like the gameplay that much since it was kinda confusing at first for me haha. But after I figured it out I found the game to be pretty good fun. I like the sound designs, but I do wish there was some music. I was able to beat the game in 5 minutes first time from start to finish.
The mechanics and controls are not that intuitive at first, so instructions could be more prominently displayed, even if you don’t want to hold the players’ hands. The tileset has some inconsistency in the way they are made.
I think this is a good entry for a 3 day jam, good job!
Love the art, and the audio matches well with the gameplay. I had trouble making it past the second checkpoint though, maybe the gravity acts a little too fast, but at the same time, it has some good speedrun potential. The best part of this game for me was how you introduced the wall clipping as the bug, its really fun to dig into the wall, instead of slamming face first into the wall and falling back down, this alone adds more options on how one progresses through the level, and i think that makes for great replayability. Great job!
I think I got the best time so far at 3:23! This is a super creative twist on a platformer. I've never played anything like it. The controls were tight, and the level was really well designed. The springy purple platforms were a lot of fun, and I felt like the flower checkpoints felt fair. Incredible work! I think if you push the visual and audio design a little further you could have an amazing prototype on your hands. Can't wait to see where this incredibly promising project winds up!
This was super fun! Very creative premise with some cute art and sounds too.
Pretty unique game, very well polish and pretty fun! it lacks music, but overall it is a pretty solid game, can really be a full fledge game with more levels and maybe other mechanics!
Literally some of the most fun I've had with a platformer in a while. Please make this into a full game! It was so thrilling dashing into the two purple blocks as the end and wall jumping with it.
The most fun I had in the jam so far!
As other have said the mix between precision and grid based is interesting, the only downside I saw was the jumping platform which had a jump that felt too static instead of reacting to my velocity.
Have you played the game Ynglet by any chance?
The gameplay is very similar to your game but your tile based movement offers enough difference to be its own thing and I think it's a solid base on which you could build a full game!
First of all, thank you so much! :)
In this jam, I learned that movement can feel *too* snappy, so that's something I'll have to keep in mind for future projects x)
And I have never heard of Ynglet, but the trailer made me want to try it out! I tried to make this game as distinct from anything I could think of, kind of blending the best parts of each. So I'm flattered to hear you like it :)
Thanks once again for the kind words :)
Very creative mechanic. I like the implementation of the theme. I also love the crossover of a precision platformer with tile-based movement. It added almost a light tactical element to the game when lining up your shot.
I will say, I feel like having your momentum stop mid-air by releasing a button felt a little clunky. I almost wish your momentum would stay, and there was another button (maybe DOWN + X) to stop your momentum. It took me a good 2 minutes to pass the part where you had to fall onto 1x1 blocks. (This is probably just a skill issue though :) )
Overall, great entry. For 3 days of development, it feels polished, and when I finished, I was itching for more levels and content. The final stretch of wall bounces and jumps was very satisfying to execute.
Great job!
Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate that! :)
I tried to make movement feel as good as I could. I know there's a lot of room for improvement (mainly digging speed and air control), so that would be something I would've worked on if I had more time.
I'll keep in mind your feedback for the future! Thanks for playing :>
Very Creative Game Mechanic. It definetly implements the theme well. I would like some hints, but that's just because I have a massive skill issue xD
