How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
MIC OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED. The "bug" is such that the strength of your beam is not only proportional to your typing speed, but also your mic input volume. The bug is the accidental coupling between the players typing speed and the mic input volume, giving the player the option to scream in order to add further to the typing speed/beampower. Ideally envisioned to be a multiplayer game, having two people typing fast and screaming at each other makes for good times and can be fun to watch as well. Easy game to cheese without any constraints, blowing in into the microphone is OP.
Did you include a fake publisher splash screen at the start of your game?

This was fun but I feel like some sort of audio signal would have been nice when the wrong letter is pressed. Also, the sound of the enemy dying jumpscared me.
Agreed, sorry for the scare! I intended to add significantly more SFX, thank you for playing! Audio feedback for user error definitely important!
I have to admit I wouldn't have known the connection with the theme if it wasn't specified in the submission but I did have fun with it. I enjoy typing fast indeed
thank you for playing!
It's a silly idea, though I'm not particularly convinced by the theming.
I will say you should really endeavor to make a web build available for jams. There's already so many things to play and it's difficult to convince people to download and extract files rather than moving on to something else, but most people filter by browser playable games anyway.
Good effort tho
thank you for the insight!
I don't mean to be rude, hopefully. I say that as a team who neglected web builds for years and barely ever got any plays 🥲
No worries I didnt interpret it that way, I agree browser builds are more accessible and get more engagement.
Ok so I was playing this on my own, blowing in the mic whilst typing. Lol! I won though, gg!
Could use some more audio here and there ;) Nice entry!
Thank you! Agreed there is a significant lack of sound, thanks for playing!
It was such a silly game! I liked it, it's definitely a great coop game x)
Congrats on the submission! :)
Thank you!
