- Very fun and well-made, reminiscent of Hotline Miami. However, not aligned with the jam theme.
How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
You are thrown into the facility and you have only one choice - kill or be killed. The gameplay is fast, mistakes are deadly, and the game is buggy. Complete the stage as fast as you can.
The game is heavily inspired by Hotline Miami

Solid game, the music was fantastic. I really enjoyed the tutorial really started things fast!
I loved it, the game was fun, music was pretty good, I wrote down a few issues though.
For one, the amount of enemies in some of the rooms is hard, especially with high-powered weapons. Also one thing i noticed is when you respawn in the pink room, an enemy immediately targets you, when you shoot more enemies follow, it can be a bit tricky to get out off. One more thing I noticed is that when you die, if you were shooting a weapon that is automatic, it will keep firing.
Overall really great game!
I liked the game; the visuals and music are very good, but the gameplay has some issues, which I'll try to describe:
First, it's unclear why they implemented the lives system. In Hotline Miami, everyone died in one hit, both you and your opponent. That's fine, but the melee enemies are incredibly strong; they drain your entire life in an instant, which completely negates the multiple lives system. It's unclear why it's needed.
Second, the level itself is unbalanced. I understand it's hard to do within three days, but cramming several people with shotguns into one room is a lot. A lot. While the strategy of strafes and shots from around corners works (which is great!), it doesn't help, given the limited ammo.
Good work, thanks for this game!
This game reminded me the Hotline Miami days. Enjoyed a lot, but couldn’t understand how it’s getting fit to the theme. Maybe the power of guns, not sure.
Overall, very well done!
Really good implementation of the Hotline Miami formula. Game is tough for sure, but definitely feels fair.
Some weapons were way more OP than the others. Would have loved to see improvements and other ideas on the formula, rather than just the same mechanics.
Music is really good, and sound effects are impactful. Art is pretty simple overall, but feels pretty coherent, and the post-processing effects make the game feels less flat and adds some flavor to it.
Overall a solid entry, but yes, like the others have said, better theme interpretation would be better.
Hot Line Miami is one of my favorite games of all time. You definetly live up to the legend. Was looking forward to see bugs and glitches but sadly none were present. Theme integration just wasn't there... But if i close my eyes to that: Great game, great visuals and plays well! Well done!
I don't think the idea of just hoping there'd be more bugs in the game really worked out 😅
It's alright, theming is poor obviously. Personally I think it's lacking the punch hotline miami had but I don't really like these kinds of games anyway, where you die easily and have to restart and optimize runs etc.
But good job, jams can be difficult and stressful so getting anything over the line is nice
I loved both hotline miami's, and this game came close to the feel of those games, i wish throwing the weapons at the enemies would also do damage though. Overall was easy to pick up and start playing, controls nice, and the gun sounds are impactful. seems to be lack of theme as others have mentioned though. but was fun to play, great job!
As other people mentioned, good game, but the theme is missing...
I didn't really felt the theme, however its a very good Hotline like and I had a lot of fun with it
Yep, we're definitely fucked up with Theme Integration, but I'm glad you had fun anyway. Thanks!
I liked how the gun play really felt impactful and the weapons just felt really good. Think this is a core aspect of shooters, shooting is supposed to feel good and be fun and you nailed that!
Very well attempt of hotline miami like game design. Game play was neat. Well done mate!
I rated this a while ago, come back here because I saw your comment on my game. Seeing this again makes me want to replay it. An absolute definition for a good game!
GOOD WORK! I loved it so smooth and clean, great work, idk why but i havn't crossed any bugs. but still doesn't matter for me great game.
Actually, I thought the concept of the game by itself will cause a million of bugs, but I accidently fixed most of them in the final build :(
Anyway thanks a lot for feedback!
It felt really good to play and the artwork is excellent. Amazing Job!
Thank you for your feedback!
