That's perfect, it's so cool that og card game implemented in turn-based game. And I always loved monochrome 1-bit graphics. Awesome

"...но не очко обычно губит, а к одинадцати туз..."

Narrative voice is awesome, good take on a platformer. Though in my opinion levels might be a little bit brighter, I can barely see where I am.

Thanks for your feedback. Item activation described in Controls right below the Inventory, you can use them by Left clicking or with E and R for Left and Right item respectively

Great repetitive card game, stunning visuals and effects, interesting core mechanic. Awesome job!

Solid cozy game concept, loved the visuals and tree shader, great job. I only managed to beat the first level, a little bit of guidance would be good. But anyway, great job!

Visual concept is great, good job

Great game, beat it on my first try. Love items mechanic, we made a game for this jam with similar system, I'd like you to try it, want to know your opinion on this.

Good job, keep it up!

Good puzzle game, (didn't make it past level 3 though :))

The game is really unique, but is has it's pros and cons

Pros
1. Unique Guard and getting chips mechanics. I do love how guard implemented visually, great idea.
2. Visual effects, especially ones that comes after you drove insane
3. Narrative. I love a story in any game, even if it's only a few words at the start

Cons
1. UI bugs. Inventory and Stats button can be clicked in a very small area at the bottom of these buttons.  Since everything's under time pressure, It's really annoying to navigate in UI
2. You forget what to do. The problem comes both in given quest and in main gameplay. After a few game days you completely forgets what item you should bring to gangsters. In gameplay, after a several failed tries to get the item you forget the line you actually need to draw to take the item.

Also the game is challenging, but it I don't think it is a con, I still beat it, though some run got me tilting

Great job anyway, keep it up man!

Quite unique gameplay mechanic for me, seems complicated, but surely could fit it an another game as an addition to the main gameplay. The game is difficult, but after a few tries I managed to beat it.  Great work!
P.S. I really missed restart button :((((

Thanks for the comment, appreciate it

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it. We a have a lot of things in mind to add, but didn't have time for this. Thanks again

It is amazing that this game is done by one person, really great job.

3 of us worked on the game
Me, Kyle - the main programmer, I did most of main systems of the game, like player controller, enemies ai, level generation, etc
Shizafrenia - the main artist, he did most of the style and art of the game,
remained_mind - fullstack guy (programmer + art), he did both across all the project, getting small but important things done.

We're all worked on balancing the game, that's was tough and we think we messed up this a little bit (the game feels difficult for many people)

Thanks for the feedback though, much appreciate it!

Thanks for difficulty feedback, we're messed up balance, because I'm new to game design balance problems and because I could easily go pass 5-7+ difficulty in almost every run :) (obviously, 'cause I goddamn took part in making this game).
0 health bug is a common float numbers bug, just didn't had time to fix it

Thank you again for the comment!

Impressive visual effects, the game feels amazing, the main concept is great, but if metronome would be centered on the screen (so I could see all these vfx at the same time) or somehow I would exactly know when I hit the beat or not, I think that would be nice.

Amazingly looking idle-game, as an Arch Rice enjoyer, that's just perfect. I want a full game, I'm subbing on you, will be waiting full version of this game

Style is amazing, AAA cutscene level, hyper gameplay

It's truly genius to make I wanna be the Boshy a roguelite, deserved top-1 rated game

Thank you for your comment, I think "visibility of mechanics" is the main problem of our game, we're definitely lacking experience here. Although, I wanted to add death sounds to enemies, but we encountered some critical errors when we start building final version the game, so I hadn't any time left for this :(

It shows current difficulty of the game. The difficulty impacts enemies health and damage, and the variety of enemies (total 5 types of enemies), that could appear in Loop, and the amounts of them

Thank you for the feedback though!

It's my first puzzle game that I beat twice in a row. It's just perfect, the visuals, the sound, and looping concept, I just love it. Amazing job

I can't get past the poker,  but I really want to beat the game, can you please help me? The music is awesome, and I love text rpg's, spend a lot of time on them a few years ago

The concept is good, it has its potential with combination with narrative, I think you have really good progression in game, but I can't play this game, the effect then you are close to anomaly just making me sick

It has it's potential in an endless platforming loop, but for now I can pass this game with my ADHD

Really nice idea, but requires a little bit time to figure it out. I really miss more gameplay here, just 2 levels is not enough, I want mooooreee.

I added in description, where you can find the controls in game, but yeah, in the game it's unclear how to control your character

The game has it's vibe. Great visuals and animations (really loved the sitting on the stairs animation). Nice gameplay, but getting hard on  floors 4-3. I think with default 3rd person game controls it would be easy to play, but the current controls contribute to the vibe of the game. Also, camera clips thourgh walls then you are close to them.

Great idea, music fits the game. I hit 18 score two times, really enjoy it.

Cool game

Cool game

Amazing visual style, cool audio. Interesting ideas involving loop mechanic, but at 2nd or 3rd wave enemies become stronger and amount of them are really frustrating

Cool narrative, pleasant visuals. A little bit challenging if you have no experience in similar games. Would have been nice if it has restart button on the Game Over screen.

I can't understand what to do in this game, but the visuals and the idea is very cool
