This was really creative and enjoyable! I found the gameplay to be incredibly satisfying and fun, my only complaint would be that each game wasn't longer lol :)

Good submission my dude. Though, it took a while to realise that the next turn button meant that your pieces wouldn't attack (if you clicked it right after placing new pieces).
I'm fascinate. For a game made in 48 hours, it's awesome, one of the best games that I have seen in this game jam. The enemy AI in PVE mode isn't even bad, it's good. I'm actually really interested how you managed to make this in such a short time period.
Very cool idea! As I said in the tank chess game, I'm terrible at chess but these games are very fun! The music and overall polish is excellent, great job!

This is a really fun game. Good job! I'm only unclear on how units exactly attack, I saw the enemy knight attack two of my troops in one turn, among other moves that were confusing me a bit.
Really nice take on chess. Not entirely sure what the optimal strategy is but it's really well done!
Very fun, good audio, and engaging! I found the unpredictability of the movements of your pieces (mainly the rook) made it a bit of a "Toss everything onto the board and hope you hit" by the end.
Overall, really good!

Yo. This is awesome. With some touches to SFX and making some QOF changes, this is interesting AND, as a bonus, with a passable finish. I really liked the pace of the game and can't wait to get a friend to try out PvP with!
If I may make some suggestions: having piece king-damage values or basic movement behavior show up while hovering over a piece might be nice, and instead of shading the area where you can't play, either do that and brighten where you can play or just brighten where you can play. These changes will assist accessibility-wise for players new to chess fundamentals (and, uh... I just kept passing the turn, thinking there was something more to it, I guess assuming that the rules were that much different compared to chess ;_;).

Great design, simple and straightforward, the collection of various mechanics into one whole is very interesting and entertaining, great job!
Oh wow this was a great idea! I also went the board game route but I never would've thought of going into the auto chess genre. The game is really intuitive and I love the in-between animations between moves. Super fun game that I could definitely see becoming bigger with more time than 48 hours. No criticism from me! Great Game!
Neat game! Simple to understand, hard to master! My only critic would be the color scheme can be a little hard to see at times. White on off white.
Since I'm not so good at chess I'm glad the AI does the thinking for me! When you pull off a combo, it's super satisfying. Really really fun and creative game, good job :D

I absolutely love the idea of this. To the point where I'd buy a game like this. However I'm not a big fan of the music, and the AI isn't that intelligent (wish I could have more drawn out games of this). Overall an amazing job, can't really expect top tier AI in a game jam.
