Thank you for that! Someone mentioned that they only heard it on their left headphone, now I know how to fix that! Thank you very much!

Rated yours! Here's mine if you have time!

Really nice visuals! Simple but addictive! Great game!

This is really nice! Juicy sound effects and fun gameplay! Great job!

It happens. School is more important! See ya next Jam! Glad you submitted what you had!

Wow... the level of polish is astonishing... especially for first time using this engine. And I gotta say, music choice was perfect haha. My only issue was the game was very very small on my screen. made it tricky to see/play. I tried downloading it and playing in browser and both were small. I have 4k monitor so maybe that was it? I am not sure. Besides that though (and a little pathing weirdness) it was great!

Thanks :)

Thank you so much for playing! If I add to this game, I will definitely make it more obvious if skelly bros are attacking!

Really well done! Especially for a Jam game. I loved motherload as a kid, so this brought back good memories! Really juicy effects too!

I may have found a bug where I was able to mine spikes for a bunch of gold.  I accidentally hit restart, fell down my original dig, then there was spikes right next to my ladder. I just spammed space and was able to get gold. Besides that small thing though, really great game!

I loved this! Great looking title screen, the tutorial screens were nice and clean as well. I know its a weird thing to focus on , but it was a well done intro!

For me the gameplay loop was good, but planting/harvesting carrots were a bit clunky. Sometimes I felt I had to click a few times before it would pick it up. Thats my only real criticism though. Good stuff!

I'll trade rates!

Good job! I think speeding up the text a bit would increase the pace. Also, I think if you sprint while spamming fireball, you can get damaged by your own fireball (unless I was missing something).

Good job though!

Cool concept, but didn't love the randomness of the dice to get them to match on the first stage. It was frustrating when I would need to shoot a dice to reset it again and it would take a while. It was cool and fun though!

Good stuff! Quality game that feels very complete.

Similiar bug where I bought nothing for 0g and my gold was set to Nan.

I fee the pace of movement could have been picked up, but overall it was a pretty cool game design!

Absolutely loved this! Perfect level of difficulty for me, and a ridiculously high level of polish for a jam game. This is my favorite game i've played thus far!

Thank you so much! I appreciate that input. If I continue working on the game,  will add that. Thank you for playing and reviewing!

Really really unique gameplay that I enjoyed a lot... once I got the hang of it haha. Since it is unique, I haven't done anything like it before so I short tutorial could have helped a lot. But like I said, once it clicked, I really enjoyed it!

Echoing everyone else, a little sound would go a long way. Big scope for a jam game, really cool idea!

Awesome, highly polished game! Great job!

Good stuff! Simple, but fun! Hope you enjoyed your experience with Godot. Great job for a first game!

As others said atmosphere is great. Dialogue system worked great. I came here to the comments though because I also found the key and figured it should've opened the door inside the house. Just having the dialogue box saying that the key doesn't fit would've helped or something along those lines. I thought I was doing something wrong.

Cool animations and monsters. I wish I could have attacked up? Also consider adding more invulnerability time to the player or slow the enemy attack speed. As dqmhose said, I would get stunlocked some.  Good base though!

Sadly got the bug :/ awesome strategy game though! A lot to it! If you ever spend more time on it, I think adding some effects (visual/sound) on the unit battles could be cool. Great job though, I really really enjoyed this one!

Really cute main character. Fun game!

For feedback, it seemed like the attacks were based on if the enemies rammed into you. Maybe that was intentional, but if an enemy hit me, if I just let it stay on top of me, it would never do damage again if that makes sense. I would consider handling the attack different (such as a function call when the enemy is in range). Or if you want to do it on first collision, maybe have the enemy destroyed as well when it collides into you? I'm not sure just at the moment it felt slightly awkward. Overall though, good job!

Highest level of polish I have played yet. Great visuals and sound effects. Gameplay was unique and creative. Excellent submission!

Solid top down shooter. The player controls very well. Good job!

I also was not damaged by spiders though.

I'm impressed for only 12 hours of dev time. I wish I could've auto completed the dialogue as it felt slow at times. If you spend more time on it, maybe flirt with the controls a little. They do feel a little less responsive, and honestly, with the blur and close view of it, I feel I couldn't play it long without getting headaches. It was pretty cool though and well done!

Solid base and the mechanics you have worked perfectly. Shooting on holding would be great, and I feel having maybe one additional enemy that shoots projectiles at you so you have to dodge as well would add a lot. I know time is a factor though. What you have feels clean and is implemented very well though. Good game!

The monster looked awesome. The swinging itself was tricky, but maybe i'm just bad... but was still really fun! Great job!

Ambiance/Mood was absolutely perfect. And I want to give props on your Title image. Just a pleasing, yet simple image. I will repeat what others have said on some QoL stuff like health bar and such, but it's a game jam and you were busy so it is what it is. Overall, really fantastic job! Loved it!

Thank you so much :D You just made my morning. Glad you enjoyed it!

REALLY good concept. I can see this making a really good mobile game if you wanted to spend time on it. Wish it had some music, and sometimes moving the river felt slightly unresponsive, but maybe that was on purpose. I couldn't quickly weave through things because it felt there was a slight delay on my actions.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I certainly wish I had more time for the tutorial. Especially since I have non-intuitive mechanics unless someone played an RTS very recently haha.

I really appreciate you playing and taking the time to leave feedback!

Thanks for your feedback and for playing! I was hoping the tutorial at the start would have cleared things up, but I could've made it better it seems. The skeletons are able to attack villagers. If you run out of skeletons and health, you'll need to reset the level. It seems that is the thing that is confusing is that skeletons can attack. Later on you will need to dodge stuff with you and your skeletons which is why you need to select and move with the mouse controls. I think a better tutorial would have cleared all this up.

Thank you so much for playing and for your detailed feedback!

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't test with headphones so I really appreciate the comment on the audio. I think I just attached it to the main scene so I bet it was locked at the top left coordinate.

The skeletons can attack if they get close enough. Maybe some more visual feedback would have helped make this clear. Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback!

I'm pretty impressed. Trying to make a puzzle game always seemed daunting to me, but the mechanic here is pretty clever. Also a surprising amount of levels/ mechanics given the time frame! Good job!
