Took me a while to figure out but I really liked the combat system after I did!
Echoing everyone else, a little sound would go a long way. Big scope for a jam game, really cool idea!
Pretty interesting idea and very large scope for a jam. Some sound or player feedback would be nice, half the time I wasn't sure what I was doing. Only after some minutes I realized I can talk to people/enemies. An interactive tutorial would be a great addition.
