Use of the limitation
You misspelled incorporate. The game is traditional (a tetris like) but with two pieces at the same time, and with bizarre randomizers that make your pieces warp, swap, disintegrate into little blocks, turn around, and so forth.

Cookies eaten
I eat so many cookies in general, but I didn't eat any while developing this game. I did eat four donuts and maybe eight or nine little chocolate pieces.

I enjoyed this a lot more than i thought i would, soup break gave me a good laugh. The one thing on the up arrow key it kept moving the screen up so that was a bit difficult to deal with.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I'll learn to fix that before the next jam.

This is probably as close as you can get to pure chaos with a game that someone could theoretically get good at. That someone however is not me.

The music is also fantastic.

Developer (1 edit)

Ahahaha, thank you!

Edit: me either.

The opening menu is sooo nice haha. I stayed there and listen the whole sound before playing. It's a nice twist on Tetris. What really stand out is the quality of the UI and the music choice. :) Same problem when using the arrows. Maybe you could allow to game to be full screen or add the option to play with  the UHJK keys.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I need to learn how to fix the arrows with itch before the next jam.

Playing this game is harder than tapping your head with your left hand while rubbing your tummy with your right.

Developer

I said the same thing while I was making it!

Submitted(+1)

omg. It's so difficult man.. XD

Developer

Ha, yeah. I can barely get a few lines done before I die.

I laught out loud when the game started, I really didn't expect that! I'm so bad at managing two pieces at the time and keeping track of the traps and their effect,  it was so much fun! Thank you for this experience I enjoyed it!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, I enjoyed Metro, Boulot, Dodo. It's one of the few jam games I've beaten ^_^

I'm very bad at playing video games so I tend to make accessible ones, so I can test them easily ahah. Thank you for playing until the end!

I really like the spin you put into this! Controlling two pieces alone would be challenging, but adding in the random...non-powerups...really makes the player work for success. When using the web build my browser window would scroll up each time I pressed up, and required me to stop and scroll back down to see the full board. I like to think this was a continuation of the "chaos" theme, but I don't think that was the case. It could just be my setup too. Music and effects were great, and I loved the dancing animations...very appropriate. Nice work!

Developer(+1)

No, same thing happened for me. I have something to do to fix control sharing between the itch.io iframe and the game itself.

Thanks much!

Maybe you could try checking the full screen option?

This is a really interesting take on the tetris formula, my brain is definitely not fast enough but it was a lot of fun.

Developer

:-D thanks

This is so Ibiza I can’t even. 10/10 Chaos. Very well done.

This is absolutely wonderful - such a brilliant expansion on the basic Tetris mechanic, which felt at once deeply intuitive and incredibly challenging. Great range of modifiers, with the block splitting one in particular filling me with dread.

I was absolutely not prepared for Soup Break - genuinely burst out laughing the first time and ended up messing up a few times afterwards.

Superb game, loved it.

Thanks, this makes my day! You're still my favorite of the jam. I've been sharing Typecast around. It's just so good.

It went from speak easy to borat music just like that XD super game

Double tetris? Love it

The Intro gives me a vibe of a movie i dont even know i like it,The game is fun. But i dont understand the rules. It is realy chaos soo good work haha.

Developer

Thanks! One thing I've learned from looking at the other games is tutorials and controls in game is a must, so I'll do that next time.

Submitted(+1)

Yea you are right. Funny thing is i actually implemented a tutorial but then broke the project. I then startet over from a bakup. But because of time i did not implement the tutorial again but the other things i did before starting over.

Developer

Oh wow, tricky to navigate! Glad you were able to recover!

Really enjoyed this, has a really nice polished feel to the game. The main menu design & music were really good. It was really challenging working 2 blocks at the same time and I was always terrible at Tetris but really good job on this!

Developer

Thanks! I really liked System Overload too.

Brilliant game, I loved it! I really liked the concept of tetris-from-hell (and I mean that in a good way!), since it was easy to pick up the mechanics, but very challenging at the same time. I think it says something about my skill that I got a total of one row clear the entire time! The traps were also a nice addition, and added more to the chaos; not only did I have 2 pieces to manage, but I had to maneuver them around at the same time, which made things intense. The pivot points on the blocks were a neat addition, they made things a bit clearer. And I liked the leaderboard as well, it kept me playing just so I could scrape my way onto the bottom there! Overall, it was a really fun game, and it kept me playing longer than I should have done - excellent work!

P.s. glad I'm not the only one who noticed the incorporate typo!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! It's a ridiculously hard game, at least for me. I can clear a few rows sometimes :-P

Still really enjoying Core Error

Submitted(+1)

Extremely chaotic and fun! I like the whole "Dual Tetris" idea. The randomizers add to the fun as well! Great job!

Developer

Thanks!

Very fun and extremely chaotic !

The game is quite hard but that's okay, the main issue I had was in the browser build when I was trying to make the pieces fall down using the down arrow, my browser window would go down as well lol.

Really fun game and great music, good job !

Developer

Yeah, I couldn't figure out the browser issue on this go-around. I think I'll have it fixed before the next jam. Thanks much for playing!

Super fun, music was awesome. The game was fun and with the addition of multiple controllers and traps it fit the theme very well. Much enjoyed!

Developer

Thanks much!
