Use of the limitation
I incorporated choas into the game through incoming hacks which disrupted the everything on the screen, as well as having intense audio to add to the chaos. I also randomised as many variables as I could to make each playthrough different and chaotic.

Really nice typing game, I enjoyed it a lot! The font is a little bit hard to read sometimes, but overall it's really well made, great job!

The game idea itself was pretty interesting, but I couldn't enjoy the game much primarily because sometimes, when I type fast, the inputs are not taken properly, and there is no end condition to the game (like if overload reaches 0, maybe making it so that I won would be good).

It would have been a good game if you didn't force fit the limitation to the game. In my experience, I found the chaos element not so enjoyable. It is simply annoying.

Incredible. I really enjoyed it, good job !! I lived 3mins ;)

Thanks for playing & the feedback. That's a better score than me haha

The hacks were pretty interesting, it's a nice twist for a typing game.

Thanks for playing & the feedback.

This was wonderful! Really tense, particularly given the full reset on getting a keystroke wrong, which I thought was an inspired idea for adding pressure, particularly with longer words. I have learned today that I cannot for the life of me type anonymity correctly quickly.

The range of hacks was great, really wish I'd thought of the double keystroke one myself as it's a fantastic idea.

My best time is 2:35 - would love a leaderboard so I can compete (and lose) with others!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing & the feedback. A leaderboard's a really good idea as without the narrative competition is the main motivating factor for playing.

Great stuff, really clever. Those hacks really freshen things up and make it hard, I like it. Some typing sound when you enter a letter could really add to the satisfaction. Nice work

Developer

Thanks for playing & the feedback. I actually thought about that but then my keyboard keys are pretty loud so I think it put me off ha.

I gues i suck as a Hacker.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I wouldn't worry about it it was a tricky proposition I only lasted a few minutes and I play tested it from scratch.

Really cool and innovative game!  I agree with @id-x it's really hard to differentiate the J and I.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing & the feedback! I should have changed the font the only last minute change I did before submitting was removing all the words with j in.

Very fun! Enjoyed playing this alot, most difficult/fun one is when it shuffles the letters each time you type a letter. Followed the limitation super well and also cool concept/graphics. Only problem i had is i not being able to differentiate the J and I with the chosen font.

Developer

Thanks for playing & the feedback. Yeah I noticed that problem a little too late, the problem with stylised fonts. I did at least remove all the words that had j in.

I felt the chaos when trying to hack the captcha company :D

I can see the fun behind typing cool words with a matrix style bg. It could be in some ncis episode ^^

The concept was interesting, it lacks just a bit of other surprise or a ending IMO but yeah... it's a jam :)

Congrats!

Developer

Thanks for playing & the feedback. Yeah your right it could have done with something else at the end but I had to submit early. So I resigned myself to having the longest session being the aim of the game to add at least a challenge/aim to it.

Chaotic! Really fun to play with and puts my typing skills to the test ha. The concepts a lot of fun and I enjoyed the random change ups/effects in the malicious attacks as you go on.

Great use of the limitation and theme!

Great sound design and font. the gameplay fits well with the ambience. Overall very cool.

Developer

Thanks for playing & glad you liked the sound and ambience!

This is one of the best interpretations of the limitation. I really like the style, and I really like the hack typing shuffle.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing & the feedback much appreciated.

I really liked the concept, I do feel like the font was a bit difficult to make out. Really fun though, and the hacks were really cool! The sound design was fantastic

Developer

Thanks for playing & the feedback, your not the first person to mention that. I wish I'd changed it out now, problem with playtesting your own games is you get used to it over the course of a jam.

Super fun concept, I love it! The hacks help make the game feel fresh. I also love how the music changes when there's a hacking in progress.

Thanks for playing & the feedback. Much appreciated.

Loved the game, it even works on non-US keyboards.

At first I was confused as why I had to double-tap during the reverse-hacking. I was expecting to have to write the word backwards, but then I noticed it was just written underneath lmao.

Developer

Thanks for playing & the feedback. I probably could have put that text in a box to make it clearer and more of a indicator to read as there's a lot going on when the hack starts.

A nice simple typing game.

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

This is one challenging game. I do enjoy it despite not knowing about the actual goal of the game.

well done!

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback, I just added the goal of the game in the itch page to make it clearer. It's basically to see how long you can last before the system overloads eventually the game gets harder and harder so there is a limit to how long somebody can last. The high score is the longest session.

Submitted

Really good concept. Love it! Simple and effective. Love the double-tap mechanic that appears later in. My only minor issue is the font for the letter i looks like an l. It was a bit confusing.

Developer

Thanks for playing & the feedback! I probably should have experimented with some other fonts, appreciate it was a little confusing. I had to remove words with j in altogether as it looked exactly like i.

The hack mechanics were randomised so really depends on luck which ones you get first.
