Anything you want to say to players before they play?
This game may be at times a bit opaque, since we didn't want to make it to easy for you!

Other than that, just keep in mind that this was built in two weeks!

OK, I finally uploaded a video of my playthrough, it can be found here:

NOTE: it's a two parter in this video and unfinished because wow... Just wow.

Developer

Dude, holy shit. I just saw your playthrough of our game. Thanks man! I'm just so happy that you gave it an honest try! Thanks man! :D

I'm glad I stuck with it beyond the first page (where I was stuck) - it was an interesting surprise to play those mini-games on the computer! The tower-climbing platforming game seemed to be endless and I gave up at that point - maybe make the game a bit easier if you want everyone to see everything in the game? Overall a unique puzzle game, with appropriately computer-like music.

Developer

The Tower game isn't endless!
It has on both sides bars that show you your progress :)

Sadly we made the game a too hard, since we are sure that certainly 50% of the game haven't been found yet!
Thanks for playing it! :)

S.O.S. (I got stuck and had no idea what to do next)

Developer

Where are you stuck?

I got the maze, got two pages from it. Got to the tower game. (no idea what happens next, but I know there's more as I caught part of TigerJ's stream)

Developer

You need to climb to the top of the tower!

On the side of the screen you have progress bars :)

(how do I unlock colors? Or alternatively, how can I stop the seemingly random dying in the tower?)

Developer

Don't step on the pink platforms.

Do step on the blue ones, they boost you.

White ones are neutral!

This requires so much time and effort to complete, but it's so worth it! I really enjoyed this one.  It was a bit hard to figure out at first but it really got good once you got the mechanics down.  I would have liked to have seen a clearer objective to obtain the next page.  I think it was very throw at a wall and hope sticks sort of gameplay inside the games.

Overall, amazing work!

Developer

Thanks man, we greatly appreciate your post!

It was a big project to be made in just two weeks, but we tried our best! :)
More directions indeed would've been a good idea.

How far did you get?

Submitted

I haven't finished playing =D  I intend to go back.  I spent way too much time on changing minesweeper =D

Oh wow, I couldn't understand this game at all. Was that the point? :-) I liked playing around with the controls though, it'd be nice if something changes when you interact with them.

Your game is part of my Let's Play video. Check it out!

Developer

Thanks for trying our game!

Each page that has proper instructions needs to be input correctly. Before inputting anything new you need to press R. The percentage to the left of the screen shows your progress!

There seems to be quite a lot of gameplay in this, but man, the gameplay gets really long drawn and frustrating to play - the jump section was too long, and I'm stuck on those autoscroll mazes as they were just really way too hard to navigate as you get trapped on walls. Nice that you had some form of save game though.

The jump section has some non-intuitive mechanics as well, as if you were chaining a lot of bounces you could get higher, but jumping at that point will also slingshot you the same sort of distance, and landing on a pink platform ends the game abruptly while smashing through it doesn't.

Developer

Oh, there is quite some!

Sadly we currently know about 50% of it hasn't been found yet :(

Otherwise - the game isn't as finely tuned as we'd like it to be.

But I still hope you liked it!

Oh, almost forgot. I'm colourblind, and in the jumping platform mini-game I couldn't make out the "jumping" platforms from the normal ones. Consider using a slight darker colour there.

Submitted

This was way cooler than I expected. Really good job!!

Developer

Thanks man!
We're sorry that the jumping was hard for you.

Which ending did you reach?

Submitted

I didn't get to the end, I'll give it another try later :)

Very nice mechanics and graphics. Well done.

Developer

Thank you! :)

I like the concept and the presentation! It's really mysterious, and quite rewarding. Reminds me a bit Mu Cartographer.

However I've been stuck right at the 4th basic page. That puzzle was just too much for me I guess... x) Quite unfortunate, because I'm really curious about what else that machine can offer!

Developer

Do you mean the page with the serial number 19.14.16.15.23.24?

Submitted (1 edit)

No, actually it's the 36.5.33.4.2.31. :)

Yes, very early I know!^^ I understand how the puzzle work, but I haven't figured the math yet.

Complex machine, mysterious codes, confusing instructions. I really like this kind of puzzle.

I have not beat this game yet.

Developer

We're glad you like it!

Keep exploring :P
