Nice game and pixel art.

It was a little hard to understand the game rules.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game ^^

Yep, I think I need to rethink how to make the game more intuitive to play

Thanks for the input XD

Really enjoyed the audio work, the simplicity, and the overall vibe on this. I was a little confused on what to do when the enemy showed up, but I understand what you are going for. Congrats on the finished game!

Developer

thanks for the inputs and playing the game XD

It's an interesting concept, although, despite managing to escape the dungeon, I still don't quite know what I was doing...

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing the game ^^

Yeah I think there's still many things to do to make the game more intuitive and easier to understand

Thanks for the input ^^

I got stuck where I had to choose a player or a door.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing the game ^^

To play the game, you need to click and drag from player to other's node like a door

to progress the node, you need to press the advance button.

and later on, there's enemy that will block the progress so you need to outnumber the connection to the node

of you are stuck somewhere, you can press the restart button

That's basically how to play the game for now

and I think some modifications are needed to make it more intuitive too

I had a hard time figuring out how the “web mechanic” worked. When I finally got it, though, it was fun.

I love the atmosphere, both the visuals and sounds are spot on!

Developer

Thanks for playing the game ^^

I'm really glad you liked it XD

great mood, music and art

Submitted(+1)

Cool idea and art!

Developer

Thanks for the input and playing the game ^^

Hope you liked the game XD

I really love the mood music, it set the whole feels for me as I played. The music tone did add to the mystery of "what on earth am I supposed to do here?" but in a game puzzle way... so it's appropriate.

At first I had the impression that nothing was happening, until I decided to experiment with the other buttons on the lower part of the screen. Then I figured the issue I had... my laptop's screen was too small to see everything, so I was probably missing out on some visual cue or clue.

Congrats on the game's release!

Developer

Thanks for playing the game ^^

I see, probably advance button is not intuitive, and I have not yet considered the screen size too

Probably need to consider the screen resolution

Thanks for the input ^^

Submitted(+1)

The game has inspiring graphics, but I didn't get past the start screen, nothing was happening.

Developer

I'm sorry that happened :'

Are you playing it on browser? Does the buttons not working?

Some of my friends also had problems with the buttons on browser version.

Submitted(+1)

Yep, It's on browser version

Developer

I see

yeah I think the browser version is quite buggy :'

probably it's better to play it with .love file extension instead

I like the concept, but I was really confused on what was going on. I got stuck at the 3rd for 4th level (opposition), and could not figure out what I was supposed to do. Pressing the advance key sometimes caused the timer to go down, and sometimes it didn't. I felt like more direction was needed. I really enjoyed the potential and concept tho.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game ^^

I see, maybe adding indicator if it's tie (same amount of lines between player's and enemies') is needed

I'll consider that ^^

Thanks for the input XD

Got to the exit, this is SUCH an interesting concept, a topological dungeon crawler.. very interesting game, really cool music and artstyle!

I think letting the player mess around and figure out how things work was good.. I'd really like to see more of this idea >:3

Developer

Thanks for playing the game ^^

I'm glad you liked the game XD

I also hope there's a chance to develop it further later XD

Thanks for your input ^^

Submitted(+1)

Fun twist on the dungeon crawler genre, I didn't find the exit yet. :D A short tutorial would really help make the game more accessible.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game ^^

I'm sorry if the game is hard to understand :'

I think I'll add tutorial after the game jam

Thanks for the input XD

Submitted(+1)

This game has some interesting concepts and i found it pretty fun, i just wish there was a way for the player to know more about how those systems work i got lost too many times.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game ^^

Yep, I think I'll add tutorial for the game later

Thanks for the input XD

Everyone posting "it was great once I figured out how to play"

Can someone explain how to play? In browser I can't click on anything in the player/door first screen.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for trying!

Are you able to drag with the mouse? Gameplay is mainly dragging to connect from controllable nodes to get to the door. If not, what browser are you using?

Submitted(+2)

Got it, just couldn't see the blue lines due to my set-up.  Completed it, very nice!

Developer

Thanks for playing the game ^^

I hope you liked it XD

by the way, I didn't realized that some colors are hard to see.

Is it a monitor setup thing?

Probably need to rethink the color scheme for the game later

Thanks for the input ^^

Submitted(+1)

No, it's just that my study has very bright natural light! I don't think you need to worry about it affecting others.

Submitted(+2)

Fun concept, and wonderful art choices! It was a bit confusing and would've liked to be guided more (at least at the beginning), since some actions were not completely intuitive for me.

Regardless, it feels like a unique game that fits the theme perfectly! Congrats on the submission! :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing the game ^^

yeah maybe it's a bit confusing because there's no to little explanation on playing the game.

will consider about it ^^

and thanks again for the inputs XD

the concept is really cool, although i coudn't immediately figure out how to play it. The music sets the mood perfectly!

Developer

Thanks for playing the game XD

I see, seems like need to consider a plan to make it easier to explain the game

Thanks for the input ^^

Submitted(+2)
i think i did it! :D
it was a bit tricky but im getting the hang of it :)
Developer(+1)

Hey thanks for completing the game XD

I hope you liked the game ^^

Submitted(+2)

The game and it's idea seems very cool! But wasn't sure how to proceed from the first monster level... I think I tried everything and nothing seemed to do anything after releasing the prisoner... But overall amazing mood and as I said, seems like a very intriguing concept! Hope you continue it! Amazing job finishing the game jam!!

Developer

Thanks ^^

Hmm I see, seems like the visualization of putting an imbalance of power on the same node (2vs1) to win can be improved a bit

or maybe tutorial can do the job better. Need to think a bit for it.

Thanks for the inputs by the way XD

Submitted(+2)

Tried it out, cool concept!

Took me a while to find how to play and what to do.

Cool idea, the graphics are also nice!

Developer

Thanks ^^

Really glad that the game play is still understandable. Maybe need to add tutorial somewhere later.

Thanks for the input XD
