A short but pretty entertaining game. I would have liked it if there had been a counter at the end showing the number of deaths and the total playing time. I would also have liked the option to download it, as I prefer to play these types of games locally and in full screen mode, rather than in a browser.

Yes, that's what I thought. I've slightly modified the script so that the character follows the shortest path using an A* algorithm. The problem is that the game wasn't originally designed with this feature in mind, so a few issues have come up. For example, the generated paths include diagonal movements, but the character can only move in orthogonal directions. As a result, to move from point A to point B, the character sometimes has to step off the intended path.
I really liked it, it’s a very interesting concept.
Just a small suggestion: shouldn’t the game be able to automatically find the fastest route? For example, in this image:

When I try to go to the city in the lower-left corner, the most logical thing would be for the caravan to follow the road (because it is faster), but instead it takes a less efficient path. Maybe the pathfinding system could take roads or terrain costs into account to determine the optimal route.
An excellent game. The combination of stunning pixel art, crt shader, and a banging soundtrack creates an incredible atmosphere. The combat is deep yet intuitive, with fun mechanics that make every battle engaging. I enjoyed discovering characters' abilities and experimenting with different strategies (although I may have accidentally sabotaged myself once or twice haha).
The interface is also clear and easy to navigate, and the game feels polished overall. Definitely an outstanding turn-based RPG with a unique twist. Amazing work!
I bought this asset yesterday, and I must say I’m very happy with what I’ve seen. Here’s what I liked the most:
- There’s a great variety and quantity of objects.
- I love your art style.
- I really like how you limit each object to a maximum of three colors, it gives the set a nice consistency.
However, I have a couple of suggestions:
- It would be helpful to have all sprites/tiles in a single image or at least grouped by category (items, characters, etc.).
- In my opinion you're using too many colors: there are 139 distinct colors, many of which are very similar to each other. I think it would be better to stick to a more limited palette, around 16 or 32 colors. A modified Dawnbringer 32 or Arne 32 palettes could work well in this case.
That being said, this is a fantastic asset with a lot of potential, and I’m looking forward to using it in my projects.
Keep up the great work!
