I love the gameplay mechanic, reminds me of those pizzeria type games where you're in a rush to fufil everyone's order!

I got an error while writing an email. I made a typo so I deleted it to correct it, and that’s when it failed. However, I tried several more times but couldn’t reproduce the error again.

Developer(+1)

I have to admit that I have absolutely no idea what the error could mean, haha. But thanks for telling me and for playing the game!

It is too much the work for me.

I really feels the stress of working playing this game lol

good job XD

it's so intense I became more confused the more time goes on.

Really neat idea!

I thought this was great! I really like the vibe of everything, and how you need to dig through your notes for answers, and properly manage your time to get everything done. A couple things that I think would be nice though, were that I felt like the day went by too fast....just slightly. I felt like I needed to be a hell of a typist in order to answer every email every day. Maybe you could be partially penalized for typos?

The sounds for the emails coming could have been a little more obvious. When I first started the game, I thought they were goldfish at my desk or something. It wasn't until I had the emails open that I realized it was the sound for incoming emails.

But yea, this was a good time. Congrats!

Developer

The sound for the email notification is actually me making a goldfish noise but pitched up, haha.

All good points! I am quite a fast typist (around 90wpm). Unfortunately, I couldn't playtest it with anyone, so it was quite difficult to know how long to make each day. The obvious answer would have been to have difficulty setting at the start, I guess.

Thanks for playing!

This is actually a really cool game. I liked it a lot! Great job making it!

I like the concept of the game!

Honestly as soon as I saw the email notification I was absolutely hooked. I would love to play an extended version of this, it has a lot of Papers please vibes but with an absolutely incompetent boss that needs to be reminded of Ms. Watanabe's meeting tomorrow time and time again.

This game is way more fun than my job as CEO of PlanningCorp!

I thought the gameplay was awesome! Would definitely enjoy if the game was fleshed out a bit more with an endurance mode or something similar! Some background ambience would have been nice, but I enjoy the sounds that are there!

Developer

Darren Snubbinton, CEO of PlanningCorp, is that you? :D.

Thanks for playing! I experimented with having ambient sounds (I wanted to have a loud coworker that distracted you) or a music track that speeds up periodically, but I just couldn't get something that felt right in time.

Fun fact, all sounds in the game are from a recording of me making a goldfish sound that I pitched down or added reverb to etc, hehe.

Thanks again!

Love the idea and especially the art/UI for the game!

Thanks for playing!

GREAT office work simulator. Nice graphics, UI works really well and the gameplay challenges were fun with the little typing mini game. Beautiful job finishing the jam!!

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Haha, I was totally sending wrong information for meetings because I thought the calendar was just window dressing. And here I was, thinking this is just a game about typing. Guess I was fired for good reasons.

I really liked the implementation of this simulation! Congrats on the game release.

Developer

Haha you must have thought the game was so slow. I did actually consider just making it a series of typing replies as fast as possible, which may have been more fun in the end. Thanks for playing!

Good to take a break from work in order to play a game about going to work, really enjoyed it and a very cool take on the theme.

Developer

:D. Thanks for playing!

Thank you, that was a much needed respite from answering emails and reviewing potluck rules :D

Developer

You're welcome! I hope you feel refreshed and relaxed from playing games instead of working ;P

Fun idea! Games about sitting in front of a computer while sitting in front of a computer to play the game about sitting in front of a computer are always fun!

I think there was an issue with answering emails, because I answered all of them but the results screen said I didn't.

Either way, I'd love to see this concept developed more! Congrats on the submission :)

Thanks for playing! I would have loved to give it a lot more personality and make the company much more hilariously dysfunctional, but the GUI stuff took so much of my time allowance. It is what it is :). Thanks again.
